Can I get some opinions please on what tires I should select for a Testarossa with 512TR wheels? Thanks!

This is what I pulled up last time, and there's a couple threads in there with links to TR tire choices.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...ht=512TR+tires I got sidetracked on other projects, but the Goodyears now have a $50 off rebate, making them virtually the same as the Bridgestones, which finished 1 and 2 in thier class rankings (Goodyears being 2nd). Best wishes. Let me know what you find out, as I'm still in the middle. |

I've run Bridgestone, Pirrelli and Goodyears and always come back the the Michelin Pilot Sport II.
For my money there are without a doubt the best tyre on the market. I run them on my Testarossa, Pantera and Lexus Coupe. I grazed a rim once so took the rears off and fitted a second set of wheels that had Bridgestone RE050 in 295/30-18 size. Turned the Testa into an unstable, sliding, smoking awful car to drive. No traction at all. Put the Michelin back on a week later, and perfect again. |

Dear Ferraristi,
I have the Michelin Pilot Sport II's on my Lamborghini....good tire. I just don't like the rolled edge....makes the tire look narrower. On a Lamborghini you have 335's....you don't want it narrow looking ! You also have the choice of the Pirelli Rosso's ......update to the P Zero. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice ! |

has anyone used the goodyear F1's? didn't they come on tr's originally? Michelin pilots a 400 a pop is a bit pricey for the life you get out of them, or is it worth every penny. I had pilots on my boxer and loved them, that said I never tried anything else. my GT5 has pirelli asymetrics and I think they absolutley suck, very unpredictable. will never have them again, unfortunately they came on the car. Soon to be replaced with something
