This car came by Lamborghini Atlanta today. It is actually purple. It looks great. The new owner got a great deal on this 4k mile 02 car.
I've been behind on posting a few sightings lately: Thursday November 5: - red Aston-Martin V8 Vantage in front of the admissions building at Emory. Friday November 6: - black BMW Z8 on Peachtree between West Paces and Piedmont. - red Ferrari California at Chops. - red Ferrari F430 Spider on Roswell Road at Wieuca. Saturday November 7: - light blue Aston-Martin DB7 Volante at the St. Regis. - blue Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe on vanity plate BIG V10 in valet at Lenox Mall. - black Ferrari F430 on Piedmont at Lenox Road. - red Ferrari F430 on Florida 'In God We Trust' plates at Phipps Plaza general parking. - black Lamborghini Gallardo (is this a Superleggera or an LP560?) on Florida plate V1P at Phipps Plaza. The Gallardo parked just a few cars down from the Ferrari in general parking. - white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder at Terminus. Sunday November 8: - gray Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on Florida plates on Highland Avenue in Virginia-Highland. More new license plates, too: Atlanta Falcons, Florida State, and Jekyll Island. They're really going crazy with these! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's an SL. Even though it has the LP560 front clip, if you look at the rear it is the "old" Gallardo, which confirms that it is an SL. -kevin
Normally, but when the car is black either they aren't applied or blend in well. This example doesn't seem to have them at all. -kevin
That's a twin turbo SL. Here is a video he posted on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaQAhgu4hwk
it belongs to an Fchatter.. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=138995731#post138995731 another video in there too
LP560 front bumper, different (painted?) wheels, and the lack of the Superleggera sticker threw me. But thanks for the replies everyone; glad it's been figured out. The owner is an occasional poster on here.

Awesome spot! Did you notice if it had the regular Scud stripes? FoA had a black one for sale a few weeks ago and I hope it's the same car.
Just got back from my spotting for today. -Spyker C8 at Cheesecake Factory. A rappers cars from Konvict Musik, stitched into the headrest. Should still be there, spotted at 4:30pm. Could have possibly been Akon's since I saw an African American gentlemen, possibly his wife and a teenager getting out. Maybe.... Notables -B7 at Phipps general lot Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was trying to figure that out, too, as I was looking to see if it was the same one that was at the Dream Ride. Unfortunately I can't tell from any of the pics... But it was on Florida plates. -kevin
I believe that Spyker belongs to Akon. He recently purchased one for what I heard was $60k. That doesn't make sense at all unless it has some serious issues. I would imagine that he put that amount down and someone along the way got confused.
I was on my way to work and I get two miles from my house and I see a green Lotus Elise being followed by a red Ferrari California. Gainesville continues to surprise me every day
Awesome spots, Purvil and Kevin!!! Great to see the 16M and the Spyker change things up a bit in this thread. Meanwhile, here's a collection of quite a few recent spots including lots of new cars: Thursday November 12: - black Ferrari 360 Spider on Peachtree at Lenox. Friday November 13: - black Acura NSX (the rare '02-'05 model) on vanity plate RITE 1 in a parking lot near Piedmont and Cheshire Bridge Road. - black Maybach 57S on Colorado plates on Piedmont near Lenox Road. Oddly, the last time I saw this vehicle was in Denver in August 2008, when it had custom wheels on it. In fact, I saw it three times during the summer of 2008. So strange! - gold/brown Rolls-Royce Phantom on Florida plates on Piedmont near Lindbergh. Saturday November 14: - grayish Aston-Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on Briarcliff near Emory's campus. - black Aston-Martin Vanquish on wildlife (eagle) plates turning off Peachtree near the Mansion. - awful photo of an orange Lamborghini Gallardo at Justin's on Peachtree. - black Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster on Missouri plates at the Four Seasons in Midtown. Monday November 16: - blue Aston-Martin DB9 Volante on Piedmont near Roswell Road. Apologies for the awful photo! - black Bentley Brooklands (new style) at Lenox Mall valet. - silver Lotus Esprit 25th Anniversary Edition on Peachtree near Piedmont. - green Lotus Exige (yes, with the top removed!) on dealer plates at Phipps Plaza valet. And another new license plate (woo!): Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Anyone own the purple Veyron with green stripes and orange flames? You can't honestly expect anyone to believe you saw a blue Enzo in the Atlanta area- let alone on your first post. Until you get some credibility on the forums, pics or it didn't happen... -kevin
I know of at least one blue Enzo, although it's in Italy. Maybe he just confused my 355 with an Enzo.
