To be clear, I am not advocating killing a door-dinger. This is actually an airsoft one: it would just hurt real bad. Fully automatic, about 14 bb's/second. Great for raccoon control.

About 10 years ago when the family fun center down near seatac opened, my family went down for some good times. The parking lot was quite full but there was one tight spot. We squeezed on in with the jeep.

While we were walking away, we see this punk and his gravitationally challenged mom/spouse. they gave us a very dirty look, clearly suggesting the larger displacement individual might have a difficult time getting in. We didnt think much of it. Of course, we came back out to find our car spat on, keyed and otherwise vandalized. Gee, who could it be?

Of course, nothing came of it, but clearly i remember it so it must have made an impact. Expensive wisdom perhaps.

Something similar happened to me in 1992 within a few days of my picking up a new car. It was my first new car. I was sitting in the car when this woman kept banging the door. I got out and saw the damage and said something to her about it. She said she didn't care and drove off. I jotted down the plate number, called it in, the police arrived minutes later and called it in as a hit and run. She was arrested and I think she spent the night in jail. Also, it was covered by my insurance. It was no different than any other hit and run.

Not really....it is 6mm. And a Marui?

But there are legal semi-auto FN249's...well, copies anyway...and using a H&K trigger group so no way to allow the real FN249 full auto parts to fit or work. It is actually the cut down and lighter version called the MK46.

You know, I haven't use my AR15 (real one) for years, mostly because i don't know where around here I can discharge it without getting into trouble. Suggestions for outdoor places? In CA, I used to be able to pretty much go out to the middle of the desert and have fun because nobody was ever there...

I may have posted this before but I'll do it again.
While I was an employee of Boeing in 1953 I was walking out to my car in the packed parking lot when I saw a punk key a brand new Chevy. Unbeknownst to the key'er the owner of the Chevy was behind him. The Chevy owner followed the punk to his car and proceeded to kick out EVERY light on the punk's car and with force to damage the rings and other mounting hardware. As he walked away he said. " Okay. looks like we're even."
There were smiles on all the faces that watched the incident

Bob: Love that story.

Kevin: I treat the word of f355spider as gospel when it comes to armaments.

To all, update:
Tanya was presented with 12 pictures to pick out the suspect, and did so easily and without hesitation, immediately recognizing her, and the policeman confirmed the correct choice.

It isn't a lot of damage ... about $1200 or so ... but it's the principle... The body shop told Tanya that there was no way that the damage was caused by accident -- the ding was right down to the primer.

SWEET! Glad to hear you guys are following up on this. My feeling is this person has a screw loose, and if allowed to continue, is likely to escalate her behavior, possibly to the point of truly injuring someone.

Not many public ranges left, most are restricted to private clubs. One that still allows the public is the Issaquah Sportsmen's Club:
http://www.issaquahsportsmensclub.com/

For outdoor (a bit of a drive to Ravensdale) is a members only range, but one of the nicest facilities in Western WA: http://www.cascaderifleandpistol.org/index.html
They have an honest to god 600 yard rifle range!

New indoor range opening in the Factoria area, owned by Lance Kilgore who also owns West Coast Armory in Issaquah. http://www.westcoastarmory.net/issaq...oor-range.html

Sorry for the thread hijack...

Pursue it on both ends. This person is obviously someone who has no regard for the safety of others and gets her kicks by damaging property of those she views as "those ___ people."

There needs to be a paper trail on this person as someone else may not be able to get out of her way the next time she does this.

I also would be fairly sure that there are painters who work on high end cars in the area who can instantly recognize those door dings as being the same as some they have seen before.

I just expect this out of people so I stop it before it happens. If I am in the car I roll the window down and look directly at them so they know I am in the car. They are careful after that.
