Installed 15mm spacers on the back and 11mm on the front. No lowering involved. It's subtle, but very happy with it...just brings the wheels flush with the body. Cell phone pick...apologies for quality

    All Ferrari's need spacers.

Very well done, I hope it handles as good as it looks.

I placed 20mm spacers all around on my 458 Italia. Works great. To me, the 458 looks like a car with too small a wheel in too large a space. Once done, changed my mind about lowering car. I need the lift when exiting my driveway. Neither my previously lowered 360/430 cleared the driveway. It is also nice not to worry about speed bumps or parking blocks, and see no need for skid plates. Best

Magnificent exterior color and interior color combination, most elegant looking spider IMO great taste!
    Are your rims diamond finished?

That's great but doesn't it add more load to the bearings?

They are gorgeous but just to remind you if you don't know, if you scrape diamond finish the only way to repair them is to send them out and have the entire surfaced turned down until the scratch is removed. The deeper the scratch, the more you have to remove.

It's not cheap and requires a specialist.

    Something to keep in mind.

    Looks fantastic though!

Yes, just looks. Put them on my Cali a couple of years a go and really liked the wider look from the rear...Ferrari rear wheels have always look at little too "tucked" for me...perhaps it has top speed benefits. Ride is somewhat smoother (I guess more mechanical leverage on the suspension). I guess it probably creates a theoretical handling advantage...have not detected any positives or negatives...perhaps you would on a track.

I did a lot of parallel parking while shopping this weekend which keeps you on your toes...particularly when you've pushed the wheels out a notch further. Still, I survived a couple of years of diamond finish on the Cali without any meaningful damage. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Let me throw this out first: I do not drive a 300k at 10/10ths - ever. Nor, do I think I am good enough to. Now, with that said, let me say the following: before I even take my incoming spider off the dealers' lot it will be lowered the maximal amount possible that keeps original springs and with stock alignment maintained. Just as I did on my 458 coupe. This improves the look of the car first. Any additional handling gain from lowered center of gravity is secondary to me.

Clearly the way the car looks stock, the body resembles a too big hat falling over someone's ears. Not a look meant for a car like this. So, I really get the spacer issue. I complained of the same with my 360/430/458. It was explained to me by someone high in the technical Ferrari food chain why it looks this way. Ferrari spent a lot of time looking at high speed stability and top speed. The wheels are set in to maximize the airflow/aerodynamic performance of the car. Apparently airflow in this area is critical to maximum performance.
Lastly, while not performance driven, for cosmetic reasons be careful with this set up. The tires moving outboard allows for the tires to throw more road surface loose material up against the body. (you may want to consider some protective film or just respray when/if necessary in this area). My wide body Porsche had same problem post spacers.

So please, enjoy your car set-up to the max! Just know I am not telling you what to do. Just telling you what I was told so you can make decisions with all available info. I think it looks great and that may in the end be all that matters.
    Best

There is no doubt it looks better.the only problem with spacers is they float louse in the middle free and creates a connection issue as long as you ain't going tracking or highly agressive they won't be an issue

Hill engineering spacers purchased from Ricambiamerica.com. They come packaged with the correct length bolts. As long as you have a jack, you'll install them in less than 10 mins/wheel.

The spacer floats freely loose in the center hub and moves. Its best to have it connected either tap weld or treaded to the rim which is very easy to have done.I really like the wider stance and will most likely do the same as far as engineering from ferrari wheels. All cars in all countrys require the wheels to be tucked in,So you have distance from the body so you don't run over peoples feet.Thats not a joke

Guys,I have done a little research Novitec sells the 20mm spacer that bolts directly to the hub,Then wheel to spacer. The spacers which are threaded for connection. This by far is the correct connection if you are going to use spacers

First, the Hill Engineering spacers are hub-centric, so suggesting they "float" is not really correct. They are $290 for a pair of spacers and 10x longer bolts.

Second, if you wish to have 20mm (or larger) spacers bolted directly to the hub, then use your standard Ferrari bolts to attach the wheel to the spacer, that's called a "Type-2" spacer from Hill Engineering, and also available. They are $275 for the pair, and include the mounting bolts.
