Indeed only from these pics can you see how long it really is now. Did it do any laps? How did it perform, any impressions? :) Such a shame I couldn't go :( Have you got any other/high res pics?

Pardon my ignorance, but what *is* that thing? Odd-looking amalgumated test mule for the enzo chassis/engine?

Yup... its one of the test mules for the Enzo engine. It was put up for auction on the 28/06/2005 at the big Ferrari auction by Sotheby's in Maranello.

Saw the car today at the Nürburgring. I was standing in one of the pitboxes and initially thought it was a normal 348... Then I looked again and saw it was the Enzo prototype that was at the Ferrari auction about a month ago. Quite special to see something like this.

Yes the car did many laps. It has a very nice sound but I can't say how it performed. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I just like the idea of mock up the look of the 348, even though it's a completey different car. I bet it makes those owners proud.

I can't tell if you're kidding-- but it was the real test mule for the Enzo, not a photoshop..

    LOL,
sorry that shows how less you know about Ferrari posting such a comment or are you kidding? ;).

I have been at the Nürburg Ring Wednesday & Thursday.
    The pics are REAL!
The M3 Enzo Prototipo is REAL!!!
(I have about 50 pics from the car....and always the same NO photoshop)
I also know the owner/buyer and spoke to him.
    This car is highly documented.

    Best

My only question about that car is how in the world would you get it fixed when something brakes?? The literature on it stated that most of the components on it are 'one of a kind' or prototype pieces that only exist on that car. So, if one day it just stopped running.....do you send it back to the factory??
