Now is he saying this because it is true, or just because he needs to downplay the car's potential as a cover for his own lack of potential? :D

Anyway - doesn't sound rosy for the boys in red... again. :(

Oh vey. I have a feeling this car will be as much of a handful to drive as last year's model.

I hope so. Don't know if I can take another year of 3rd and 4th place finishes. Especially being married to a Vettel fan!

After 3 days of testing it doesn't look good and the Italian media are starting to already talk about a crisis.

Hard to say what's real, but it doesn't like a flying start for the team in red.

    Or my bet...

I still don't know what to believe...we were all laughing at McLaren this time last year and they came out and finished 2nd and 3rd in the first race so who really knows.

Exactly. A few races into the season is when they will have enough data to really know where they stand.

True, however Mclaren and Ferrari, do tend to keep getting better as the season progresses.

It's the gap to the leader that matters: lets say that's RedBull again, that's what needs closing pronto, if not it's game over mid-season like last year.

If Ferrari starts working on the 2013 car in May of 2012 --Domenicalli should go home and stay there. # seconds behind Mercedes seems a lot...

This year I use shots from tracks I drove on (in car camera). You can find the "legend" in the Location on the right side.

So this is the great gate in Trois Rivieres, a Canadian town. They have a track there, which uses partly public roads and I happened to come through town just after a race there. Took my rental car on the track for a spin. :)

This is the track where Gilles Villeneuve had one of his legendary races in the lower formulae, which helped him to the next step on his career towards a F1 driver.

I'm not sure I understand this considering your flag waving team just built a ridiculously bad car. Still think dumping Costa was wise? :)

There's a pie in the oven I'll be eating shortly.

I bet him that Vettel would not be WDC this year. In the past, whenever someone would give me the field I always opted for that and it's worked out well so far but who knows. I hope Vettel doesn't win 3 in a row.
