Don't say I never did anything for you. http://jalopnik.com/5832797/ferrari-458-spider-this-is-it/gallery
Good stuff. I like how they gave it a 'backbone' seeing this makes me very excited for Scud version, Ferrari knows what they're doing.
It is a cool design and also being a hard top is awesome BUT based on these first pics you can not see the engine with a top down " the design team should have found a way to make that happen"

+1 I'm with you in that, for the F430, the convertible looked better though for this one, I'll still take the coupe over this one. Maybe its just new that's why it's not growing in me yet. That's just me, my honest opinion but still looks good though =)
OMG OMG OMG.. Sorry I feel like a little girl every time a "new" Ferrari model comes out. Looks awesome!!
Side profile is bit too "targa" looking for my taste. I think they could have done something more interesting with the engine intakes. I'm glad there is no glass behind the seats. The engine cover looks really interesting. Something tells me someone in the aftermarket will figure a way to put some glass back there. Yes, we need to see it with roof up. This may be a great candidate for the two tone paint. Bottom line: Make mine in red with racing CF seats and a Cuoio interior please!
Firstly: I love that the ol' crew in Maranello consistently surprises me. This car will look equally or more amazing than the coupe. Lastly: Where the hell are the cooling intakes for the engine?
I'll tell you what would be cool. A CF roof that blends into a CF engine cover. Well, except that it would be for 50 grand!
