Modena pictures up loaded here.
So lets try again, i wish this site would stop being so bloody petty and allow links from f cars.co.
![]() Anyways i have re done the pictures for this forum along with the tex ![]() Got back today. Factory was open and was not closed until the day we left. Here are a few pictures of the very busy and packed few days we had. The pictures also show our factory tours/visits to Mazza, Lambourghini and the holy Zonda Mr Pagani gave us the tour himself along with his assistant. Zonda was on the first day of us being in Italy so they were an hard act to follow i am afraid and no one else came close to the quality of the Zonda Mr Pagani gave my sons loads of stuff including the brandnew Zonda F spider DVD and Brousure The Mazaratis new factory and building was awsome and shamed anything ferrari had to offer The Lambourghini factory tour was very good and was very interesting We met the Lambourghini test driver and my sons had there pictures taken with him Now for ferrari we did all the usual ferrari things in Maranello, the museum and the shops ect, but to me it was all a comercial circus And the ferrari brand came across as cheep .....BUT we went to San Marinos Maranello Rosso Museum which was first class and this put across the ferrari brand as it should have been in Maranello its self. I fully recomend Marinello Rosso's museum . To be fair the only genuine place in Maranello was Tonys (see pictures of the dude working on the 512BB). This place is a true ferrari gararge. There was no matching overalls and rubber gloves, and the place was a mess. Now thats real. As you can see we also hit the Alps for two days....wow!! We went up many mountains and down again Thank f** the 456 was an auto. to much to think about to be changing gears including the cars and busses coming down the other way on my side of the road And with cliffs at the side of me Any ways there it is, we also visited MV Agusta but could not visit the Ducati factoy due to us having to buy a brand new set of tyres on friday afternoon and having only until 5pm to do so befor italy shuts down Big thanks to Franco the Planet Hotel Manager for phoning his contacts in the tyre world The whole tour was one of the best things that i have done in peace time And i want to give a big shout out to my brother from another mother Ross for swapping ferraris with me for the week Dude!!!! Oh yea, can any one spot Luigi from the movie "CARS" Also the 355 spider in the picture has 190k on the clock from new with only one belt change on it

Wow, lots of pictures Chaa. Looks like you had a great time.
I was at Tonis only 2 weeks ago. Looks like all the cars in his workshop have changed, he must be a quick worker When I was there he had a 275GTB several 512's and a Daytona Spyder all totally dismantled. Several 246's and the 250SWB. More photos here...http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=113639 Cheers Simon |

Thanks for posting the pics. The mountain scenery is awesome! Glad you had fun. Which is your preferred Ferrari, the 456 or the 355???

Though i did wish that i could have driven the mountain roads and long long tunnels with my Capristo equiped spider, to have heard the high pitched sound waves in there would have been perfect as well as catching the rays ![]() So in a perfect world i would have driven through europe and into Italy, changed the car in the Alps and enterd Italy with the 355 spider ![]() The 456 never missed a beat in the 3000miles that it was asked of it, fantastic beast. |

Just had a look at the above cut and past that i did, and there seems to be a lack of full stops. This is becourse when i posted it on my regular forum i was using "smilelys" (
) and they did not transfer to this thread![]() Point of interest is that the white ferrari spider in the picture above belonged to Marilyn Monroe And is only one of two made with an optional hard top.

What an amazing trip! It was pretty cool to see so many 308GT4s in the service bays with the other, modern Ferraris.
And for whatever reason, I got a kick out of seeing a Harley V-Rod parked at one of the garages near the beginning -- of all the American bikes to have in Italy alongside Ferraris, the owner picked a V-Rod!
