Ok Gentlemen,

Pre-Party drive. Meet at VCR 5:00 Leave about approx 5:30pm A nice canyon cruise and then Line up the cars at the Sagebrush going all the way back to the Commons !! We need a long line of cars so who in?

Unfortunately the forcast is for rain Saturday and Saturday night. I think I will pass on the pre-drive.

I checked my maual and it turns out my car came standard with wipers. Steve (Starrgate) and I will be there to send you off, rain or shine.

I should have purchased a modern Ferrari with a Base Coat Clear Coat.... Mine does melt in the rain... JJ

My didn't seem to here.

As it turns out, wipers were an option in 02, and my spider does not have them. I called Wayne at Auto Gallery, and not only are they out of wipers, but there is a 9 month back order on them. (I called Ferrari Of North America and was told that most 02 360's sold in Seattle did not have wipers!) So I went on ebay and just bought the only pair of wipers on ebay for an 02 (carbon fiber arms...cost me $1100.00), but they are coming from Dubai and won't be here until Monday. So i'm screwed!!!

That's funny, my car was an '02.

But yours had the OPTIONAL wipers! I guess the original owner of mine did not want to pay the big bucks for wipers. Funny, though now that I think of it, he did pay for the optional front and rear challenge grills, shields, and power daytonas....why would he not shell out for the wipers?????
Maybe he thought that it never rains in Southern California....that must be it!!! WOW! Am I smart or what!

AFTER THE CHP 580 RUN.....A REVIEW OF MY VIN NUMBER WITH CARFAX, IT NOW SHOWS HISTORY THAT MY WIPERS AND CAR NOW HAVE WATER DAMAGE......NOT FLOOD DAMAGE THANK GOODNESS.

Isnt there some type of law stating you must have windshield wipers....not 100% sure, but I thought I heard that somewhere before

Did the previous owner notify you of the water damage when you bought the car

I hate rain. Almost as much as I hate snow. No fun to drive in, bad for the car, bad for your disposition.

If it rains, I'll bring the "rain car".
