I have the original order sheet for this car...the color is "Grigio" and it came with the black "boxer" trim on the bottom and the Euro front spoiler..these were the options listed for this 83' QV. I use Meguire's cleaner wax as a first step and then Meguire's mirror glaze and finally good old fashion carnuba...It's a driver...just turned over 80,000 miles and still going very strong...I'm always on top of the maintence..I rebuilt the entire top end about a year and a half ago...I'm expecting to get a good 100,000 on her...the more I drive it, the better it gets!

Dude, an '83 is REAL late for the Boxer Trim option....you may have one of the last cars so equipped........

Where did you obtain the window sticker?

I'd be interested in that if possible, for my two 1977s........

Hey Big Tex...My car was originally purchased a couple of miles up the road from my house at Walnut Creek Ferrari (no longer in business). I have the original window sticker which listed all of the car's options including the estimated fuel mileage of 11 to 28 mph..LOL...vin#42203. The black "boxer" finish cost was $295.00. The Euro spoiler was $535.00 and the metalic Grigio paint was $830.00...LOL.. the sticker is dated February 16, 1983..Get a load of this: at the time they even imposed a "Gas Guzzler tax of $2,250.00 on the car! Suggested retail price on the sticker was $62,005.00..unknow what the orignial owner really paid for the car..probably more than sticker..
