Carlsbad cars and margaritas?

There's a place called Coyote Bar & Grill in Carlsbad Village. I've always thought location might work well for a car meet because of the outside seating and fire pits right next to a decent sized parking lot.

Anyone interested? Any weeknight after 8 works well for me. Thoughts?

Ferrari + Margarita + Carlsbad Cops = risky

More than once I had Carlsbad's finest threat to impound my car because of the sound . . . no sense of humor about it at all. That was 5+ years ago though . . . maybe they've lightened up a little?

How about coming inland for a get together at the Pala Mesa resort?

They have plenty of parking, there are some awesome roads out here, and the best part, it's only a couple miles from my house.

I have some appetizer party vouchers I'll donate to the cause also.

If nothing else, maybe another group drive?

Sean

couple things you might want to think about, and I am not trying to rain on anyones parade here by any means, but Cbad PD is all over the place down there, especially at night. Parking lot is big but always crowded and drunk people stumbling around looking at your cars up close, do you want to risk it? Sounds like it would be fun though, just a couple things that might make it not so fun that you might want to consider.

If you are looking for a place to just gather and hang out, have a couple of drinks and lots of fun, there are a several other places in the near by areas that wont be as crowded or have the police presence. If you would like, and this is not a solicitation or thread hijack but as a fellow car enthusiast trying to be helpful, but I bartend at a place in Encinitas called Miyabi, its a Japanese steak and sushi place like Benihana but better and a very large parking lot. If you guys do it on a weeknight we arent overly crowded and you can have an entire grill section to yourselves and I can see what I can do about saving you spots for parking. Just an idea.

If not and you dont mind a non Ferrari owner joining you guys I can make it on a Tuesday night. It probably will be the only time my car doesnt draw the attention from the cops....lol
