New Radio in 430

My 07 spider just arrived and I noticed that some of the 07 cars have a new sytle radio, but mine does not. Is the new style radio just an option or do you only get it when you order nav? Anyone know why mine came with the old style radio?

I just took delivery of my 07 430 on monday. I got the Infotainment system radio, which I believe is the same unit as the 599 gets. I cannot believe how good the sound is.It blows last years radio away.I think unless you orderd the optional radio with subwoofer you get last years unit.

can you post a picture please? Because my car which is june 2006 has a different radio too than 2005 cars..

my mistake. The 599 radio only comes if you order nav.

the specific make and model would be helpful i.e. Becker "infotainment" 6112

My car does have the optional audio system with the sub, but not the new style radio. Is the new style radio itself an option?

There is only one type of radio for the 430 as of now ( Becker ).
The 12 cyl cars will have a new Bose System available starting from summer this year.
