Ferrari GT California

Any thoughts?

Not sure if this is an indication of something Ferrari has up their sleeves, or simply them wanting a trademark an older name?

If that's a trademark application it should be challenged. As a place of designation, ie "California", the Ferrari is clearly not. Similar in ways to calling something Champagne or Dijon as these signify places in France. Call it a California GT but DON'T give the greedy Ferrari Spa the Trademark!
