I am finally going to the Ferrari Factory;)

After being in Europe for over a year working, i finally get some time for rest before i come home. it has been always been a Dream to go there. so i decided to go to Maranello and Modena.
tomorrow i got to the factory and the galleria followed by luch at the cavallino risorante in Maranello. i am looking forward to it and have already seen some project f-car running through Modena, i will be taking heaps of pics so i will post.

just wanted to know how many of you guys from Aus have been to the Factory and the galleria?

final stop will be @ Monte Carlo for the GP and that will also be another dream fulfilled i will be in the grand stand across from the yachts, it should be good but i cant wait to come home.

As Moretti said, unless u have already arranged it prior they wont let you in [UNLESS your a pretty female then yes....., hey we are Italiano:-)]

I was lucky that a guy i deal with in Italy, knows somebody at the factory, and he got me the full tour, they even gave me some brochures and stickers, was only young then and yeah its heaven.ENJOY!

Next time i go back i am raising the bar, i want to visit the Gestione Sportiva, aka the F1 skunk works, now that is bloody difficult to visit.

Maserati and The_Tractor_Brand are a piece of piss to visit, but i wasnt bothered to go to see them.[Silly mistake, i should have all the same]

Also, while your in town might as well visit Ducati, once again it must be pre-booked, unless your connected...

Enjoy and looking foward to your photos

Cheers

M

so many times over the last few years i've wanted to be Muppy (he emblazoned my werk screen years ago doing burnouts in a Ferrari) but none so more than when a hot aussie chick at the Ferrari factory is touching his hindquarters.

my life is pictoriacally-provably crapper than a muppet's.

be sure to let us (i mean me) know if Muppy suffers an unfortunate customs oops-i'm-inside-out incident, many of us here would like to apply for his position.

Hi Anthony,
I'm going on a quick trip to Italy with the fam.,and yes you need an invite for Factory tour
Not the Galleria.
I'm going to arrange mine through Italia Motori if I can work out when I can cram it all in and still keep wife happy with all the other stuff.
You must just sit and have a coffee at the cafe' outside the Galleria and watch Ferraris drive by all afternoon.
I'll also be at the Monaco GP. ( Highlite ) What part of the track will you be ?
I'll be at the Casino Grand Stand.

sorry it has taken so ling but i have been in rural Italy for the past two weeks and i haven't had a chance to find internet places till now.i wont get to post pics today as i haven't got my camera with me but it was great going there. and to answer some of the questions above Yes i knew you had to get invited by the factory or at least know some one close in the factory.
Unfortunately my contact did not come through on the day and i only had the 2 days in Marenello, however he said that when i do come back he can line it up.

still i got to see the galleria which i was quite impressed with and that was still worth the trip. i will post pics of some of the cars later on.i got to see some spy cars that had been covered up, while being driven around modena. the hotel where we stayed was near the the foirano track which was also good, they were only testing road cars.

i also went to one of the dealerships in Modena which had a real good line of cars, they stocked everything right from a 208 -430.
i also got top go to Team Forza workshop in Torino, they also had neary every ferrai in their work shop.
i will post pis of the galleria when i get chance.
have a good one fellas

I'm leaving Sydney on the 19th yeeha!

Ferrari tour screwed me up by saying YES, but only for 3 people.
There's 4 of us .............. I know, I know........."Darling you go shopping while the boys and me go on the tour."
I declined 'cause I thought it was a pretty lame excuse since they knew there was 4 of us.

Our seats are in Porte 10 B opposite the Casino.
