Vero's out, what next?

Spent 3 weekends there, just too quiet...going to try the west Coast next..Looking for waterfront, good schools, no crime, and a sense of community, not too big, but as I learned in Vero, not too small either..Sarasota? Naples? Venice?

Mark, you and the wife are not old enough to qualify for Naples or Sarasota membership. I do think those areas are more beautiful than south Florida, but watching finger nails grow is not my idea of fun.

Nevertheless, I have heard that public schools in Sarasota County are the best in Florida. If you plan private school, then Stuart and Jupiter are very good suggestions.

Besides, Boxers are illegal on the west coast.

I will PM you the phone number of a friend of mine who is selling a oceanfront house with basically a private beach in Sarasota. Sits on almost 2 acres.
In either case though you will never be able to find anything that compares to Miami Beach.

I agree I'll never find anything like miami beach...It was great when I was single... but after a while, the all night parties, naked girls at the sand bar, orgies, alcohol, etc etc just don't do it anymore. I just want to hang with my kid and raise him in a wholesome, healthy, safe environment. If that means I can't watch 3 girls making out at a club, so be it. BTDT.
