Palm Spring Car Events/ Showroom Help

I'm heading to Palm Springs Ca between May 10 - May 14'th. Are there any car events planned for the area, over that weekend? Any recommendations of car related shops/show rooms to go visit in that area?

How about recommeded places to eat? Both romantic dinners or a quick breakfast/lunch? My lady is taking me there to relax and unwind.

The best restaurant in the desert is Jillians, on El Paseo. The Chef is a good friend of mine, his name is Jay Trubee. No Da Te on El Paseo is also some of the best Sushi I have had, they did the food for the Palm Springs part of the Joy Ride for me, Also the owner Shin, is a very good friend of mine. Desert European on Highway 111 is a good place to check out some cars. PM me if you have any other questions, JOHN.
PS I should be there and you can come see some of my cars.

The weather is going to be a shock from Chicago. It got up to 104 down here last weekend.

PS. John, anytime you are willing let me check out some of your cars , I'm ready. I live off of Fred Waring.

Well the little lady has a number of events planned for us, but there is always room for admiring cars and she likes that too, (a real keeper). Thanks for your response, and John I'll PM you with my cell. We'll try to catch up with you next weekend and call you when we make it in. Sorry we won't have a exotic to run around in but still can't wait for that warmth!
