Post 4/25/04 F-Chat Monthly Breakfast - DETAILS

DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS!!

Jennifer (Wasabe) and I went out to Glendale over the weekend and found a perfect location for this month's breakfast! I think you will all enjoy it!!

We will be meeting in the City of Glendale on sunday morning. We'll have some breakfast, go for a nice drive through some backroads at Angeles Crest, then come back for a light lunch at the same location. We have made arrangements with the owner of a quiant little cafe/deli to have reserved "coned-off" street parking and outdoor tables set up...

Location: Le Petit Cafe, City of Glendale, Brand Ave (between GlenOaks and Dryden - located across the street from the church)
Meeting time: 9:00am

For those folks driving up from OC, we can meet at the coffee bean location at 7:45am, leaving at 8:00am. (Corner of Alton/Jeffrey in Irvine, near Gelson's)

For those folks leaving from W. LA - does someone want to propose a meeting time/location?

So far confirmed are the following people:
Byron, Jeffrey/Jennifer, Jeremy, Armen (VROOM), Jordan, Steven, Superyota, Mike S, Dave (Darth550), Edward/Jennifer, Chuck, Jean-Louis, Vahe, Sunny, Pietro...

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!

Byron

Sounds great!

West LA folks could meet up at the Federal Building in Westwood, right off the 405. Meet at 8:15 and leave at 8:30.

Byron - I will meet Jeremy and the LA crew at the Federal Building. I am planning to drop the 360 off at FX Performance AFTER the run on Sunday for some followup work. Therefore, we're going to take the 360 and the SUV up to FX first thing in the morning and then head over to meet jeremy and the guys at 8:15 to 8:30 to go from West LA to Glendale. Also, do you have an exact address for the cafe?

The other option is for everyone to meet at FX Performance at 8am or something. We can then ALL caravan together. Just an idea.

We'll be there! Either the Federal building or FX works, both have easy freeway access.

Another chance for spirited driving and seeing all the new toys, whoo hoo!

Bummer....my other half's decided I should spend some time with her instead of (and without) the Ferrari. Roll on next time! Have fun all.

Cheers!

Oh wow, Glendale is very, very close to me. I'd love to meet up with some of you guys. I'm not a Ferrari owner though. Are non-Ferrari owners welcome?

I suggest we meet at another place other then the federal building.
Last time we met there we were harrased by security. Someone inside the Federal building was adament about not having us park in the lot. I say we either meet on Veteran the street that the Federal building is on (off of wilshire) or in front of FX.
What's your preferance?

Let's meet in front of FX at 8:00 to 8:15 since Jeffrey will be there anyway.

Great idea Jeremy!

Actually, it's probably not a bad idea since it is off the main drag and there is usually a ton of parking on the street. Won't attract undue attention back there either. I'm happy with that!

I looked on Mapquest and it appears that the restaurant is about 25 miles away. Mapquest says to take the 405 North to the 110 South to the 134. Something like that. Is that how we are planning to go? Just curious.

That's the route I was thinking as well -- I figure if we leave FX by 8:30 we'll have no problem getting there by 9:00.

Cool, we'll meet at FX and then the route is actually 405 N to the 101 S to the 134 E. I figure doing some spirited driving at the (ahem) speed limit we can do that drive in 15 minutes.

Looking forward to it!

Edward
