Talk about its a small world

Sometime ago someone in this section asked about a reference for a body shop to work on their Ferrari. I suggested my neighbor, Alex at Tanner autobody. He is a real craftsman and can fix anything and blend anything to the highest of standards. He has worked on Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the past and is well qualified.

So fast forward several weeks and yesterday I was getting some framing done at a shop that happens to be next to Alex's shop. Since I was in the area, I stopped by with my daughter to say hello to Alex. As I am standing in Alex's office he gets a phone call from a gentleman inquiring about getting his Ferrari fixed. I prompt Alex to ask the phonecaller where he got the reference and it was from Ferrari Chat! Same guy, Carlos who recently picked up a 456 that needs some detailing and some mechanical work. I pick up the conversation with him. He also needed some mechanicals worked on. Since he is in Potomac I was able to get him Fernando and Richard's phone number (from my Ferrari daytimer, of course.

I hope to run into Carlos soon (maybe at church tomorrow or at an upcoming FCA MAR event.)

Talk about a small world!

regards and safe travels to all

Ken
