One question about your request Vince.

What race was the 1500m Brussels exactly?
As 1500 meters from Brussels? looks very short to me for a car race.

    Best regards

    -Kevin

This probably isn't what you need for an autograph, but I just found this picture in Automobile Year 1956-57, in their report on Le Mans. No photo credit is listed. The caption reads:

"The yellow Jaguar entered by the Ecurie de Belgique runs each year, trouble free from beginning to end of the race, and always finishing well up the list. This year it was fourth, driven by Swaters (in the center) and Rousselle, who are here seen talking to Mons. Pierre Stasse, Managing Director of the Brussels paper 'Les Sport'."

    Vince,

In Gianni Rogliatti's book on the Ecurie Francorchamps, page 62 :
Start of the 1956 12 hours of Paris with 500 TR

Who is that behind the steering wheel, Rouselle or Dubois?

Thanks and see you on friday,
    JR

so, yesterday i had a meeting during a Ferrari club dinner with this living racing legend Freddy ROUSSELLE.

The man is 80 years old and alive and kicking, told us some of his stories and some jokes that happened during his racing career, with the Ferrari's 750 Monza - 500TR - 500 TRC - 250 TR fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joren and I had the time of our life enjoying this great day in our Ferrari life.

I'm still in contact with Mr. Rousselle and he confirmed me on the phone that he'll be at the Le Mans track today and this weekend to drive the same Jaguar D type he drove in 1957 to commemorate the Jaguar victory from 1957...

1957 saw the first 4 places dominated by Jaguar d types

    (Rousselle - P. Frère 4th place)

If you are there and see Mr. Rousselle, talk to him about his carreer, you'll see he is very open and he'll tell you some beautiful stories.

    Greetings, vincent
