Ferrari Festival in Tokyo

Hello..

A few weeks back I went on a little sight seeing trip to Tokyo with my wife... I use to live in Shinjuku and my wife and I hadn't been there in a few years, so I thought it'd be a fun little trip... We were just doing some sight seeing and happened upon some kind of festival at a temple...

I was like "hey honey.. a F355..." and pointed it out to my wife as it turned the corner... and then 20 more followed behind it.. hehe

Ah.. and something interesting..

I saw this sign at a hotel that read "Fishing Restaurant".. now I just thought it was poor English, which is common in Japan... I stuck my head in and realized that it's a restaurant where you actually fish for your own food... quite fun and reasonably priced ... If anyone's interested, it's in the Shinjuku Washington, Tokyo...

There were more cars on the street, which I didn't take pics of...

Hey Jonomo,

Thanks for the cool photos. I love the shots of the Fishing Restaurant. Looks like great fun so I've put it on my "to do" list when I go to Tokyo.

Cheers, Hank

I've seen restaurants where you can choose the fish (alive in a tank/pond) you want to eat and they'll catch and cook them for you, but I've never come across the one that you have to fish for yourself. But I can imagine it'll be popular in Japan.

That is really cool!! I am a bit of a fish monger and this looks right up my alley.
