SUNDAY BRUNCH UPDATE @ SANTANA ROW

So far we have 40 confirmed RSVP for brunch! I reserved table for 50-55 @ 12:00 noon Straigts Cafe, hopefully outside patio.

Deadline: RSVP will close Friday night 7/30/04, so I can call in Straigts on Saturday for EXACT # of group lunch menus. Please RSVP soon if you can join us.
If there is any changes in plan (add in, delete, cancel, type food...) PM me or post reply to thread asap!

Preset menu: $20/ person + 8.25% tax and 18% gratuity

Apertizer:
Roti Prata-grilled Indian flat bread w/ curry dipping sauce
Satay Chicken-grilled chicken breast skewer w/ peanut sauce

Entree: (4 dishes)
Garlic noodles; Salmon Pangang- salmon fillet.....; Green bean Sambal...vegetable dish ; Kari Ayam- boneless breast chicken.... served w/ Jasmine rice

They also have Vegetarian menu, if needed.

Due to parking situation, we have to leave ON TIME! Just got a call back from "Cowboy Fred". He'll definitely make it. Put him down for 2. He will be driving to Stockton Sunday morning from Antioch to ride up with us to Santana Row.

I'm still waiting for confirmation from two others who might be coming. I'll post tomorrow when I hear from them.

To Toms, Due to distance travel and with that many cars/ people. It is hard to be there around 9:00AM. Latest headcount for brunch ^45 people, therefore, it is impossible to have brunch with Tods due to restaurant accomodation. We'll plan out for next year.Henry

Talked to the marketing team from Santana Row and this is the latest:

If you are trailering a Ferrari, I have parking just off the main street. Just let me know if you need trailer parking. I think there are 2 so far that may need the room.

Santana Row is blocking off the 2 side streets, in addition to the main street. I'm trying to make room for the Stockton crowd and later arrivals. This gives us 12 more spaces. So I have a total of 52 spaces. I think that is enough.

Tod's is planning a breakfast for Ferrari owners between 9-11 am I have been told.

There will be a room available at noon for the FCA Monterey Volunteers Meeting. We have finalized some proceedures for the Concours at Quail Lodge. The entry list is stunning, with a number of Ferrari's from the Pebble Beach Concours coming over to compete at the National. Nice older F-1 and Prototype cars entered. We even have an old FIAT transporter used in the 1960's by the Ferrari race team there. SpeedVision will be videoing for a future show. We have press from around the world attending. I have been warned that 110 Aussies are coming...hope there is enough beer in Monterey!

My wife and I would like to participate. Will join the group @ Brian Crall's shop. This will be our inaugural Ferrari event, having just recently joined the family. Can't wait to see all the cars! Hope our "driver" will blend in!!
