Official Invite: Nay Nay's Scary BBQ and Haunted Loft Party

Yes, the rumours are true. Rene is opening the doors of his fab NYC river view pad for a BBQ on Saturday, the 30th at 5:00pm. This season closing BBQ is sure to be a hit. Come in costume. Bring a bottle of your favorite vodka. We'll get some burgers, some dogs (hot dogs, that is), and a steak or two. Cook it up, watch some F1 footage, enjoy that massage chair and be off to the next part of the night...

Immediately after the BBQ, Keri is throwing a Haunted Loft Halloween Party. Details are below, but if it's anything like last year, it's sure to be a blast. Come in costume or face the dreaded bag o' mystery. Don't be scared of the killer in the shower...

So, to summarize:

- Rene's Scary BBQ: Starts at 5:00pm until 8:00 pm or 9:00pm

- Keri's Haunted Loft Party: 8:00pm until we're out of booze.

- Post Party Drinks: Dekk or Edwards or Grace

RSVP here on this thread. If there are any folks that need directions to either event, PM me. Oh, and let's get some F-chat lurkers to one of these events. You know who you are!

Emil

PS: I do not recommend driving the f car in NYC on halloween, but if you do, there's good parking near my place, as you all know by now...
--
Keri's party invitation:

Why don't witches have babies?
Because their husbands have halloweenies.

For more halloween fun...

Come to Keri's Halloween Party!!!

Saturday, 30 October 2004.
- 81 Murray Street, 5th Floor, NYC
- 8:00pm. Drinks at Grace or Edwards or Dekk to follow.

Bring friends! Wear costumes! Mine is going to be veeeeeery scary!!! In many ways. Emil is quite disturbed by it. I am too, actually.

Just like last year, we will have the dreaded Black Bag of the Unknown. Those of you who show up in your boring old regular clothes can blindly choose silly and fun costume parts from the bag. And hey, you just might choose the prize-winning costume!

Hope to see you there!

~keri~

P.S. Here's another dumb joke to get you in the halloween mood:

Do zombies eat popcorn with their fingers?
No, they eat the fingers separately.

I just love halloween! Don't you?

Don't want to wear your century 21 gold blazer jacket?

wth : Golfer's always wear outlandish outfits (caddyshak anyone?). even tiger woods. If your wardrobe is running thin in the "outlandish" dept, a trip to the local salvation army should have you suited in no-time.

Mort la Halloween!

Talking

Bad News: Wont be able to make it to this one. Spending the weekend in Marlyand with my father for a pet trade show.

Good News: Met with the CIO of UBS Saturday and it looks like I may be getting a "real job" soon. This means I'll be off on the weekends instead of Wednsdays and Mondays so I'll be able to come to many more events. On top of that it's looking like more or less 3 times my current pay so it wont be long before I get something italian. Anyone willing to Co Sign for me

Gallardo-I'm going to have to rent the Gallardo to answer that question for sure. Your car is by far the best car I've ever driven. I need to know for sure that a gallardo isn't as good. I've heard it sucks and I've heard it puts the 360 to shame. From what I've seen they are more reliable and certainly faster.

550-Love the looks of the car. Plenty fast. Concerned that it costs a lot more to own because of the V12. Also concerned it may be numb feeling compared to the 360. Would love to drive one to know if it's something I should look into or not....jeff.

355-First car I was every crazy about. I believe a 95 355 is just about as fast as a 360. Cheapest choice. Not too crazy on the interior. Again would like to drive one to know if it feels at all like the 360.

360-F'n awesome. Hopefully could find a good deal once the 430 comes out. What color to get? Love the silver and titanium yet not sure if I would get tired of those colors quickly. Black is the sickest but would end up making it all black and that's not cool because it's been done. As much as I love the car it's a lot of money to step into a slower car.

430- Growing on me and I'm sure it looks better in person. Actually fast. Ton of cash. Could always just get the new Z06 and wait for the 430 to come down in price....but I want an italian now.

I must formally protest. Why aren't you guys gonna play along? It's a costume party, so if you're going to go, you should wear a costume.

And don't EVEN try the "I'm too cool for a costume" stuff, or Rob's really gonna have to break out the capes....
