Unhappy The Leaning Tower of Skokie

Looks like someone else realized the photo op potential of the Leaning Tower: the seller of this '83 Mondial qv Cabriolet:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...526172556&rd=1

As a fan and future potential purchaser of the Mondial cabriolet, this saddens me:

"THE WHOLE INTERIOR IS SPECIAL MADE IN ITALY IN BLACK RED AND YELLOW-SPECIAL SPORT SEATS THAT DO NOT EXIST IN ANY OTHER FERRARI"

...thank God! The red is arguably OK, but who thought that yellow was a good idea? Clearly in setting his "Buy It Now" price he did not take into account that whoever buys it will need replace most of the interior.

"THE PREVIOUS OWNER IS FROM ALASKA-SO THINK HOW MANY TIMES THE ROOF WAS OPEN"

Actually, he never opened the roof because he didn't want anyone to see that hideous yellow trim.

What makes people do things like that?

Actually I was just watching an official Ferrari tape (The Myth of Ferrari) and there was a 208 that was cluttered with prancing horses. All over the freaking thing, dashboard, tank cover everywhere. Just like Fierobondoking.

And I agree, there is one color too many. Make up your mind, it is either black and red or black and yellow. Not the whole rainbow spectrum. OTOH probably a relative simple fix to have the few yellow parts redied.

Must be the fastest Mondial out there if it can go easy to 180 MPH

With an auto tranny no less!

Talking

LOL! Yeah,as long as it looks like that. You could probably just go to Office Max and buy a package of Black Magic Markers and go over the Yellow parts.... Who'd notice...?...
