Talking Happy Day: 575M Added to the family

Let's see. My Dad sold his 360 Spider (that he had a few years) a few months ago and bought Ford GT #61 (that he waited for a few years). He just got the car back from the suspension replacement and sold it. It was a nice car, but just not the *right* car. He was mulling over some ideas like a Turbo S porsche or a 550. I wrote him an e-mail a few days ago about how he could really save himself some money and probably get rid of his Z06 and Viper altogether if he had a 550. Well, I didn't know that's exactly what he had on his mind as well. He didn't tell me until just now, but he bought a wonderful 575M.

Here's the low-down:

2003 575M, 1300 miles
19" multi-piece wheels
***Fiorano Handling Package***
***NART Blue***
***6-Speed***

I couldn't believe it when he told me about the car. I'm not giving up the price, but if I were my Dad, I'd be pretty happy about that too. Apparently the car was owned by the former owner of Ferrari of Dallas. The options are exactly what he would have ordered himself. It even has the leather parcel shelf that he likes on those cars. The interior is a very light tan (I haven't seen it as he's in TX and I'm in FL) with dark navy blue piping, Daytona seats, and a dark navy leather console. I'm pretty excited to drive the car, but I don't know when I'm going back to Houston. He's bringing pictures with him when he comes to visit for the 12 Hours of Sebring next week, but c'mon, I can't drive pictures!

Oh well, I've got some good news of my own, I just had the shocks and springs from the Japanese NSX-R installed on my NSX, so that'll be fun when I pick it up tomorrow, but I think my Dad wins this week!

I'll post pictures when he sends me some.

Yes, let's have some pics of both your and your dad's cars.

Here's my much loved NSX which is going to make way for a 550.

Pictures!!!

Here's the URL of the photos from the eBay ad. I'm not sure how long it will be up though, so I hosted them on my website as well. I don't know why I can't post images on this site, maybe I need to subscribe. Anyway, the last link is to a picture of my car.

Ohhh, THAT one. :-) Have seen it advertised for a bit - glad it's finally found a nice home. Gorgeous blue, that.

PS - links to your homepage don't seem to be working.

Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous! I love blue on Ferrari, especially now after seeing the 575 adorned in it. Can't wait for some hi-res photos.....hopefully? :-D

Gorgeous car, but that is Tour de France blue, not NART.

NART blue is a solid, nonmetallic blue. Check my profile for a picture of a NART blue 360 Spider.

Actually, your car is Pozzi Blue, not NART. Nart is metallic.
