Monaco GP 2006
Following my post regarding my day at the Monaco GP last weekend, several people expressed interest in the package deal I had.
I have spoken with the event company again this morning, and she has offered me the same deal at £1099 fully inclusive. This price includes all travel/transfers/top price Grandstand ticket etc. The only money you will need in addition will be beer/food/souvenir tokens during the “free-time” periods. A deposit of just £55 will secure you a place for next year, with the balance payable over the year (full balance to be cleared 3 months before departure). The tickets available are either Grandstand K (where I was this year) or Grandstand T (adjacent to pits/start finish straight). Apparently the latter are the best there is. Package includes: Pre-flight customs clearance. Complimentary VIP parking at Stanstead Airport. Access to exclusive VVIP check – in area. Pre-flight Champagne and Canapé reception in the VVIP departure lounge. Return first class service (privately chartered jet). Full complimentary bar in flight (both Journeys) including free flowing Champagne. Superior breakfast served on outward journey. Luxury transfers to and from Nice Airport to Monaco. Top priced grandstand seats. Superior 3-course dinner on return journey. Daily Newspapers. Hostess service. Event Managers in attendance. Full event insurance. Individual guest documentation I was very impressed with the organisation of the day and also with the professionalism of the staff they used. I have no qualms at all in using them again. I’m happy to take the lead and get this organised if people want me to. FChat UK trip to Monaco anyone??!!

Sounds really good Simon, am definitely interested. Can you confirm it is a day trip and not overnight?

To confirm, this is a single day trip only. I flew out just after 5.30 am Sunday morning (champagne reception starts at 4.00 am) and got back into Stanstead at approximately 11.00pm Sunday.
We also got preferential rates for Saturday and Sunday nights at the Radison SAS hotel, which makes the early start more bareable, as well as allowing you to go straight to bed (or continue drinking in the hotel bar if you have the stamina) without having to drive home knackered (and more than likely over the limit). I'll leave this open for a couple of weeks for people to check dates (Next years date is 29th May 2006) and then take deposits, to have booked by end of June.
