Poseur Run videos

Here's a couple of videos taken from the Poseur Run last Sunday in London.

Location is Oxford Street, Marble Arch and part of Hyde Park.

30 Ferrari's took part.

As far as I can tell, no one got above 1st gear and 5mph. Did they eventually run the cars somewhere or was the video represntative on the event?

I liked it but I think all that revving was a bit excessive.

The revving was abit stupid, its not to my liking, but the run looked o.k if it wasnt for all the red lights.

LOL! What a lame way to drive a Ferrari... but on second thought that is more driving than many FCA New England events and about the same speed/type as other FCA New England events.

Hey FCA New England, how about some track time instead of shine/show? Golf? Polo? Seems like trophy wife elitism to me. But i guess, well...

sorry, as much as I love ferraris, I thought these videos were way too over the top. Who would just rev and rev and rev their ferraris for all that time and just stand in traffic? THat was a bit corny in my eyes. I did enjoy that guy holding his ears though... Otherwise it was a waste of video in my eyes.

Angelis,
Please repost your last message. For some strange reason it never made it to the thread?
If you don't have the text any more I can quote it for you.

If you just decided to delete it, please let us know.

Thanks!

Hey I like the pics from the run in the UK forum.

I've written similar comments in other threads, but here it is again! At the end of the day, of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, you had to be there to understand the spirit of the day and why people did what they did. Main points are;

1) Watch the videos (not available yet, but there is nearly an hours' worth that my girlfriend captured) and count the number of smiley faces / people pointing cameras to capture the event. Now add up the number of people who seemed to be distressed / annoyed by it? Mmmmmm.... a 'landslide in favour', me thinks! At most, there was one negative response, which was the fella with his fingers in his ears.
2) All of us had the times of our lives on the run because of the positive reaction from the crowds. In terms of 'enjoying what a Ferrari was designed for(?)' what's the difference between driving a Ferrari at 30mph in town or 60mph in the country? Neither is fast at all. So how much fun is poodling around in the country where nobody else can appreciate the car?
3) By driving slowly in town, we could actually appreciate each other's cars much more and form a parade, which had width as well as depth. Go racing out in the country and you just end up with a strung out series of cars.
4) Look at the backdrops! Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Hyde Park etc. etc. So many people have runs in the country with trees / mountains in the background. That's great. Don't knock us for having the balls to do something different.

Final point and maybe it's a repeat, but 100% of those who attended loved it and would do it again. Some who didn't attend have formed a negative opinion. Great, I'm happy for those people not to attend the next one. Enjoy yourselves in the country by yourselves!!!

I had second thoughts about posting it, so deleted it.

I think Dem sums it up more eloquently.
