Question F430 RED WITH BLACK AND RED CARPETS

Hello,
I am still months away from ordering my 430 Spider but curious if anyone has speced out a red car with black interior, red stitch, but with red carpets?

I think it would look sweet? Obviously re-sale might be a problem? Anyone have pics of one?

What do you guys think? Ugly? Not? Just looking for opinions, thanks

Mike

I';ve seen red carpetting + stitching on many exotics, but not on a F430 yet. IMHO it's way overdone... and the red in the interior becomes overhwleming. I don't like it. But hey if it floats your boat then sure.

Ace that is my concern, too much and overdone. I kind of wanted something different though? Hopefully someone could post a pic? Thanks

Let me get to work on that for ya. Mind if it's not a F430? I'm sure I have some 360s/355s pics with red carpetting. And I'm very positive that you will find it overdone and intrusive.. I have yet to see a car with red carpetting that isn't.

Another nice interior combo I have grown to like is black seats with silver piping and silver inserts. It looks very elegant and modernized. Maybe it is/isn't your cup o tea?

This is what I've managed to dig up so far...

Nothing exactly fitting, but here we go. I realize the ones with red carpets are very EXTREME examples, but it gives you a very rough idea. I also included some of the silver inserts I was talking about. IMO these are beautiful.

I'll try and find more in a bit. However, I'm afraid I won't be able to find much with black seats + red carpets. I'll look around though. Okay after searching through all 13 pages and all

Glad I could help, yeah after looking through all the 303 Modenas on DR Autos and my own collection of pictures, I couldn't find anything with black seats + red carpets. Seems that all red carpets are accompanied by red seats and dash. Quite frankly, that combo IS disgusting. Look into those black w/ silver stuff, it looks VERY cool IMO. Check it out.

PS. Noticed your on the other end of our Kanada, How's the weather out there? If I'm ever in the neighborhood I'll say hello
A.

I considered red carpets with tan leather because that is what my old 328 had. However, the 2 shades of red carpet available now are either brighter or darker than the 328 had, so I went for black carpets which look really good. I have seen black leather with red carpets (not in a 430) which sounds good to me but looked bad in person.

I am considering the same color combination as you for either an F430 or a 599GTB. An alternative I am considering is ordering all black interior, maybe a red dash if that is a possibility. Once I get the car I can always change out the seats to red Recaros, or other brand seats. Maybe even the bright blue seats you used to see years ago on Ferrari race cars!

The point is you can always change back to the original black if the colors become blinding.

I do like the black with the red daytona inserts-

Have you been to RTGT lately?

They have a 430 spider in the new dark charlcoal color with a darker red interior-

I noticed it driving by and it was very eye catching-
