[FCA] Cavallino al Lago, Regional meet April 7-9

Just wanted to remind everyone about the Cavallino al Lago, the South Central Region's gathering. Everyone who attended last year had a great time, and the crew down there are hard at work to top it.

Please see http://www.fca-houston.org/RegionAnnualMeet.shtm for the registration form and pictures from last year. Rob's thread about last years' event can be found here

Only a few weeks left before the Region's premier event "Cavallino al Lago". This is the fourth year that the South Central Region has put on a fun filled weekend long Ferrari event. Each year the event gets bigger and better. Don't be left out, make your reservations now. The early registration deadline has been extended to March 1st. So fill out the attached registration form, mail or FAX it to the indicated address and get ready for a memorable Ferrari weekend.

Don't forget to make your room reservation at the fabulous South Shore Harbor Resort before March 15th, while the special Ferrari Club rates are still available.

We went last year when it was at the Woodlands. Not going this year - headed to Italy that weekend for the first 248 F1 Test Day of '06 on 11 & 12 April then back to Italy the following week for the San Marino GP. Went to test day last year and it was great - several of us are returnees this year.

Vintage turnout has been light in the past for my tastes, but I would prefer almost all vintage cars. Event is more about the rally and socializing, although the few vintage cars there receive a bunch of attention. Jennie and I have attended the first 3 years, but can't attend this year. There have been 330's and 365's (Daytona and 2+2).

I will almost surely be there this year... have had conflicts every year so far... but this year's conflict ended up in Houston, so I'll just do both... so I get to go this year!

Any other's going from DFW area?
