March 11 event in Nashville

The forecast for Saturday is calling for 77 degrees. I like that!

We've got a great 65 mile route planned out thru some beautiful countryside, including a few miles on the Nachez Trace Parkway. It will be quite a ride.

There will be a few stops along the way so that those who didn't bring a car will have a chance to get some seat time in a Ferrari.

Here is a full recap of the event:

TOUR DE NASHVILLE

The first Tennessee Ferrari Club event of 2006 kicks off in Nashville on March 11

Belated celebration of Enzo's Birthday!

Schedule:

All cars will meet at 1 PM, Saturday, March 11, in the Kroger parking lot off Franklin Road in Brentwood. After everybody gets a chance to chat and check out the cars, we will embark on a nice drive around the Brentwood and Franklin area. We'll travel on fun and out-of-the-way country roads, taking us past some gorgeous properties including Alan Jackson's (very impressive) estate.

Our "Tour de Nashville" will end at the Lane Motor Museum (www.LaneMotorMuseum.com) where we'll see an amazing collection of rare European cars and motorcycles After viewing all the unique vehicles, we'll break up and then re-rendezvous that evening for dinner at the Sunset Grill. This will give all out-of-towners a chance to go back to the hotel and freshen up. JC Marquardt has connections at the restaurant (http://sunsetgrill.com/) and will have a section of the parking lot reserved for our cars. Once there, we will eat, drink, be merry and remember "Il Comendatore".

Please let me know if you're planning on coming so JC can give a head count to the restaurant...and let me know if you have any questions or need directions.

Note: This event is open to all Ferrari Tifosi. You DO NOT need to own a Ferrari to participate!

Ciao for now

Just saw that there is a 40% chance of rain. I hope this won't scare anyone away.

Hey Crawford , does this mean you are gonna offer coffee, krispy cream donuts and a free wash job?

Yeah the temp is going to be great. I hope nobody minds, but I invited some of my MR2 buddies so we might have a few more cars riding. I don't think any of them are going to dinner though. Also I'm going to try and make a little video of the event.

I just heard back from a 360 owner and a TR owner. They will be at the drive.

We should have 308, 328, 348, 355, 360, TR, 512 cars represented. The weater channel is calling for 77F and 30% of rain - sounds like Florida weather!

I'm having a new exhaust put on the car - hope to get it on by Saturday.

355 with almost any aftermarket exhaust sounds amazing, I cant wait.

Also, if anyone needs a ride, as of right now I can give one (or more possibly). The girl I was going to take with me has a soccer game so shes probably not going to be able to make it...so I've got some extra room.

Send me a PM if you do!

How much of a mess is Nashville with the SEC in town? Also what is the cross street or the address of the Kroger?
