looks like the front end lift is engaged... there was a pic a while back that showed this from the side, and it lifts it pretty high..similar to lambo's and the Enzo
You could be right...I hope so. But there are quite a few people who think that the 430 was brought into production a little too high as well... It's easily fixed, but it's just annoying for looks. The car looked so good in the digital renderings...
I think it looks worse than the release pics. The rear haunch looks really long and the headlights are much worse than I had hoped they'd look. Flame-suit on.
I think it is, see attachment. I guess the cavallino ain't chrome so it doesn't bling back on the picture. Having photoshopped for so many hours on this car (see color thread), it's actually just as I had pictured it in my mind, no suprises here for me Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome. I think the front lift is up. If you notice the white wrapping that goes down the fender wheel makes it easier to notice the gap is excessive.
I hated the headlights, and this pic shows that they can look okay. They're not as exaggerated as the punched-out photoshop-altered official pics portray. The front in general is more subdued. You must have liked the theatre aisle rope-lighting and creases exaggerated in the official photoshopped pictures of the headlights?
That's easily checked and indeed the front lift has been raised. Green lines are perspective taken from wheels and the vanishingpoint/horizon is outside the image where they would meet up (basic perspective rules). The red line follows the lowest point of the car itself drawn across front bumper and sideskirt and this 1 dives under the perspective line which basically means the front end has been raised. Or... this Ferrari has raised front springs which make it look like a motorboat Image Unavailable, Please Login
thought the release pics were out of this world but have to admit, i am now skeptical after seeing this pic.
The back of the car (after the doors) looks very similar to an Audi R8... Will have to wait and see in person...
You have to understand too that the release pics are photoshop-enhanced for effect, for slickness. This is also a black car. So much of the dramatized sizzle of the beauty pics is gone here. I happen to prefer this pic. Notice the curved structures within the mouth opening, the nostrils inside the mouth, are not as severely angled as what is shown on the red photoshopped release pics. I prefer this reality pic in that regard too. And I doubt the suspension is that high. If it is, then just buy lowering springs. Problem solved.
