Some time ago I posted a 612 Scaglietti Shooting Break that I created in Photoshop. See: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99823 After many requests on doing other conversions of Ferrari's, I decided to open this topic on general coachbuilding in Photoshop. Here I will post various designs based on existing Ferrari's and I would like to invite you to post yours aswell. It started with this one: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/MichielMobiel/Show14.jpg Now I've created a convertible of the 612 Scaglietti. I agree. The Shootingbreak-body would fit the Scaglietti much better. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are good! I wish i knew how to do that in photoshop. My photoshop skills are limited to resizing, layers and changing levels Great work
And my first drawing of a special coachbuild Ferrari. An impression for Jim's 612 P4/5. Image Unavailable, Please Login
your work is so suberb, catching subtle flows, curves and volumes. I know we all appreciate your posting these wonderful forms. I'd love to see your interpretation sometime of a 'new' Mondial; a mid engine 2+2 based on 430 mechanicals. Fioravanti at Pininfarina used to say that a mid engine 2+2 was one of the most challenging. Again - excellent work. Many thanks
Thank you very much. It's nice to do aswell. I agree with Fioravanti. I tried it before..., but after a few experiments I turned to front-engine. It's not very hard to draw some smooth lines and simply say the car fits four seats... To make a true realistic design, I need all info of the technical package and the measurements of the passengers. But it's a nice challenge to think of a car like that. Maybe I'll have it a go. I'm now working on a four door Scaglietti.
Thank you Michel! The convertible is perfect!!! Could you change the rims into F430-Style and the colour in black?
Michiel you do amazing work in photoshop. Some of these models you could make and make prints of. Great work e
Doesn't it just really get to you the way the place you earn your living gets in the way of having fun?
Wow - Scaglietti spider looks good Michiel. Can't wait to see more - I'm rapidly becoming a big fan of your work!
I don't really see what the big fuss is about..... I mean I did this Ferrari sketch in less than 3 hours and it was my first time with pshop. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Michiel, once again magnificient work, even if that 612 cabrio would fit an older person than me better, classy but maybe too classy. IMO This was my trial on the subject a while ago, but I guess theres no room for an engine anywhere..... (minor design flaw) Image Unavailable, Please Login
As I said in earlier thread, I am almost ashamed to post my pics, Yours are just so good, but heres a few anyway ... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree - that modern GTO looks fab (nice use of F430 front air scoops), and I'm not even a fan of retro inspired designs. I do however think it is a shame that Ferrari designs have become much more angular lately, bring back the curves!!!
Nicke: What was the PS basis for the modern GTO?? Which ,by the way, before I viewed I was half asleep, suddenly I was wide awake and my eyes were the size of silver dollars......just wonderful imagination!! I saw your work some weeks ago when I asked for suggestions for a four door Ferrari in light of Aston's beautiful concept. Your work is terrific. You and Michiel make me wish I was 12 again so I could figure out this computer.
