    No witty commentary just yet. I'm trying to send these through Aaron's rig's DirectDSL so it's kind of slow going. I had intended to keep you all updated with nightly reports, but the pics took too much out of me. Consider these 50 or so photos a preview of one helluvalottafun roadtrip. In typical pauper fashion, we saved our money for the truly important things like track time and air freshener and used Aaron's and Jeffrey's rigs to haul the 4 cars up to Infineon. Gary's Modena didn't turn any laps but the other three drivers got plenty of opportunity to embarrass the poseurs that tried to share the track with them. :) JC even won the slalom. Anyway, I've learned that it's really all about the pics, so without further ado, the Paupers want y'all to know, this is how we roll.

    Thanks. A Fuji underwater disposable. Or rather several hundred of them, and a one-hour photomat at the track. And a flatbed scanner. Took a long time as I ended up shooting more than 5,000 pics since Wednesday.

    Frank I'm truly blown away by the pictures!! It looks like everyone had a great time. I can't wait to read your whole report on the weekend :) BTW whose Argento Nurburgring CS?

    Thanks, Erick. A couple more shots of the Enzo will surely appear soon. That F40 LM is the one you're thinking of. It USED TO BE owned by Mr. Linder. It's now owned by our own awhite. :)

    That's funny, I just saw a recording of this years Gp at "The 'ring" complete with commercials and Roland appeared with the LM on a MOTHERS car wax commercial. Caught me off guard because I didn't really know who Mr Linder was, thought it was funny.

    Thanks. It has been, and continues to be a very memorable trip. If Argonaut Nintendo or whatever you asked about is Commie, err, Ferrari speak for silver, then I must apologize and admit that I don't remember the guy's name. He was pretty cool and ran in the sport group with us. Che bella macchina!

    LOL. Thanks for playing along everybody. I am so tired and completely loopy, so I can't be held responsible for anything I post. But damn I'm a great photographer. And with single-use film cameras to boot! If the pics are good, it's always the photog. If they suck, it's the equipment. Posing all those people and all those cars in all those locations in just 4 days, amazing ifidosaysomydamnself. I'm surprised none of you has picked up on the Da Vinci CODE-WORTHY CLUES I'VE SNEEKED IN ABOUT SOME OF THE CARS UP THERE THIS WEEKEND. Go back right now and start guessing. Think 1 of 1. 1 of 3. 1 of 39. I still have about 4 hours to go before I can get back into my own bed so keep me amused, please. :D

    Thanks for the pictures Frank. I swear you're getting better by the week. It looks like you're all having a blast, and it's awesome of all these guys to share the passion with you. I suppose as the Official Ferrari Photographer of the Year, you definitely deserve it :)

    Umm, guys, be nice. She is a sweetheart and the face is at least as nice as the rest of the package. So is the brain and personality, in case any of you were wondering. Sheesh. :)
