Joop, was the picture of the Drogo with s/n 3611 GT in the older thread you linked to taken at Zandvoort? If I recall correctly I saw it at Italia a Zandvoort in 2000 and judging by the picture it could well be the paddock of Zandvoort. Just curious...

2445

2939gt 250 SWB has the engine of 2445gt? What engine does 2445 have?
It drove le mans with engine 2053?

Remains of 2053 are with Swaters, but is this car ever to be restored. What is left of this car?

That sounds a bit like it might be the Kinnerton Confectionary track day.........am I right? I've been to a few of those, but never managed to get a ride (probably don't buy enough chocolate!)

That's right, it is! My wife works for (possibly) their largest client so I might stand a chance of a ride!

Are you going this year?

Hi Steve

I don't actually know when it is this year, I used to go to Goodwood sprints and track days a lot (I was there when Chris Rea rolled out his replica Sharknose 1961 156/F1 and 250TRI/61 for the first time on a Kinnerton day in about 1994) but haven't managed to get there for a couple of years due to pressure of work. Still, I've got a lot of photos and video footage of Moss, Brooks, Piper, etc. to remind me, if I had time to watch it.

Hello again Steve

Just found out that the Kinnerton day at Goodwood is Friday 30th April, and I just might be able to get there. Do you have any info on what cars & drivers are expected to be there?

Paul

Hi Paul,

Sorry I don't. I just have an invite and will be going with the wife in my TR (unless the weather is terrible).

If you are going, you might like to pm me details of which company you work for so I can look out for you on the day?

Steve

Doe anyone have pics of 2819gt as a normal SWB; Tour de France or Montlhery (it only had a larger grill like 2845 and 2939)?
