Personally I think that black causes the 612 to lose some of it's visual impact - the scallops in the side don't show so much as with a lighter colour. Like that interior though - never seen quilted leather on the 612's seats before.
I thought that area looked familiar. lol, finding the perfect V12 in a city made famous by it's big block V8s
Very nice! There was a manual 612 here at Penske-Wynn Ferrari in Las Vegas a while ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like to throw in my old 612 for consideration Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOVE the quilted stitching everywhere, and the seats look stellar. Nero Daytona is the same color I've ordered my F430 in -- I think it looks great. ... though I've a soft spot for Jas's Grigio Ingrid and have lusted after it here http://www.ferraricf.com/autos/ab-show.php?listid=114323233774639&p=25&s=make%20ASC&page=1
Personally, I think Black/Crema is a the ultimate combo for a Ferrari. The second 612 is pretty close to perfect too - awesome!
The interior looks fabulous. I found this pic on another message board. Member 'stradale' posted pics of his recent trip to the Ferrari factory. Here is a pic of a 612 he caught being tested on the track. It looks very similar to the one at the beginning of the thread. It most likely isn't the same car because I believe these pics were taken last week. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I haven't driven this particular 612, but have had one out on the Las Vegas speedway road course. Unbelieveable how a car this size can get around a track. The torque is aplenty when accelerating out of corners - a real stump puller! Would love to take one on a long road trip.
the interior is very nice, The exterior, I'd definately paint the scallops a different color It sure is a Big car
The best one I have seen in person is below: Photos courtesy of Pdtrixceo BT Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This goes to show you, the 612 is really an under rated car. We have a customer that ordered one in Azure California with Navy Interior and Ivory piping and inserts, loaded, it had a sticker of $330K, Awesome car.
agreed.. the long horizontal space between the A pillar and the front wheel doesnt suit the vertical-shield shape of the SF logo. Something long and wide would be more suitable - Aston Martin's wing logo comes to mind, but Ferrari has nothing of that shape... The 612 is growing on me more and more... i would still like the nose of the 599 grafted on. That would help alot in my opinion... GT
