Lets try to keep everything in one place. Thanks.
Why not do a general "Event" thread ?? It's always difficult to find pictures of an event in all sub-forums...
Please explain more, how is that different than what we're doing here? Keeping all the separate threads from happening in other forums. Ferrari Discussion is supposed to be the main forum home for event discussions that are beyond a regional scope.
I mean specific sub-forum for showing our pictures of each event (Cavallino Classic, Pebble Beach, Mille Miglia, Tour Auto...). If you show an event in "Ferrari discussion", the subject is hidden in so many others subjects that it's difficult to find. And pics of a same event are often shown in several threads.
Each auction house usually posts them at some stage on their site - for example Bonhams do not yet show last night's results
So far Monterey is the greatest car event I've ever been to in my life. Blue sky and beautiful weather right now. Here's a Veyron spotting in Carmel. I posted 599GTB photos and P 4/5 photos and a video in the US 599 Intro and Jim's P 4/5 thread respectively. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have not seen any pictures yet, did everyone forget their cameras??? Help us that could not get off work to go.
I actually saw a different Veyron driving around Laguna Seca...black with red. I heard that there are up to 5 or 6 different Veyrons up here this weekend.
Hey Jordan - it was me who said "so what do you think" as we passed going into/out of the restrooms after Jim's unveiling. Just wanted to introduce myself a bit after the fact. - Dan
i have made a small gallery as a preview of the photos to come. i hope you like them, i have been having a great time taking them. http://speed-photos.smugmug.com/gallery/1787216
I did a short weekend...tomyang party and Quail. I am torn about which one was my fave vehicle at Quail. Jim's #02, Sydorick's 250 GT Zagato, or this thing: http://www.ronpatrickstuff.com/ Quail was fantastic. Loved the food, all the free booze, the welcome gifts (pillows, blankets, DeTomaso history book, Maserati CF look pen, etc), and the selection of cars was top notch. It was quite a contrast to a row of 30 355s, all red and tan (I like the car, but...). Mathias and others pulled off a fantastic event. It is nice that they limited the number of cars and spectators. My 250 GTE was in fine company, surrounded by 250 Cal Spiders and 275 GTBs, not to mention the supercars and all the one-offs. I made an appointment to try on a an SLR Mercedes and I have to say that 617hp felt nice, but the sound surprised me (kinda like a Panoz at ALMS). I also tried on a Bentley. The latter was a review for a family member... Showing up was a bit of an affair because I got stuck on 156. There was a serious accident and the highway was closed. I just pulled the old girl over since nobody was moving. No sense running the temps up, although she did not complain (Patrick Ottis' installed clutch did not complain in the heat, either). Once I arrived the room at the Dunes resort was worth it, too. An ocen view balcony was handy when I felt a little overheated after the complimentary bottle of Merlot. It felt like I was upgraded on my flight this year: better accomodations, better show ! PS. the guy in red is mine...but the martini glasses were partly scavenged (not all mine) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Skipped the Historics at Laguna and spent the afternoon at Pebble where I was treated to a few special sightings: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
