Hi guys just a little note about a BAD situation, so I just wanted to bring this to your attention so no one else gets hurt!!

This is re: Ferrari service of IRVINE (Gil and Mike), also known as Members Automotive, NOT to be confused as Ferrari service of COSTA MESA (Michael Rozenstraten who was at the Irvine location for a brief time)

Ferrari service of Irvine sponsored our company car 360M for SEMA as it was going into the Falken Tire booth for 2006. The agreement was to install and paint the Fabulous body kit in exchange for promotional value at SEMA by way of decal being placed on the car which we did to their satisfaction.

The bumper, side skirts and rear Challenge grill were removed. We were told that we could take them back or they could be sold for us for a small fee (which we chose the later). The Challenge grill was supposed to be put back on our car, along with all the new parts, instead a stock grill was put on our car, and the Challenge grill disappeared (we found out 2 hrs after they closed on a Sat. as the car was delivered to us via flatbed). We later found out that Gil TOOK our Challenge grill for use on HIS own personal car, however ended up crashing his car and crushing our Challenge grill and killing his front and rear bumpers. When we got back from SEMA we asked for our Challenge grill, and we were told they were *in storage* as we had not yet found out the fate of our grill. We let a little time pass to let the dust settle a bit, then come to find out that Michael and Gil had a falling out, apparently Gil assaulted 3 of Michael's employees, so at this point he had had it, and in the middle of the night (to avoid confrontation), Michael moved all his stuff out and back to Costa Mesa.

We called over to Ferrari service Irvine and spoke to Mike (Gil's son) regarding picking up our missing parts, he says to us *come down anytime to pick them up*, but today we called to make sure they would be there, this statement was that Michael R. stole the parts and left without paying rent. We then called Michael R, and he reaffirmed what he told us earlier, which was that Gil used our Challenge grill and smashed it and replaced his broken front and rear bumpers with the ones that came off of our car, he just repainted them red, and as a matter of fact, he knew the car was still at the body shop. Another call was placed to Ferrari service Irvine, and got Gil on the phone, Gil finally confesses that he did infact take the parts, but we now have a *magical invoice* that is due for the paint and install of the body kit, HUH?? We held up our end of the bargain, as well as we have no contract stating there was anything billable to us. He then stated that if we did not pay $8,000 he was going to keep all our parts as payment, he laughed and hung up on us...

Well, the next call was no my attorney, were he states that the case is open/shut, and I can file under *matter of conversion*, so it's time to take a trip to the courthouse.

BTW, Ferrari service of COSTA MESA is one of the only places for service here local where you will not get ripped off, please stay clear of Ferrari service Irvine (they are trying to take F.S.O.C.M's business, and they do not even have qualified tech to touch your car), so my suggestion to you guys is to STAY AWAY from Ferrari service of Irvine.

Sorry to hear a bad experience. Try Concourse Automotive in La Habra. Joe is the owner and I recently purchased my Silver TR for a client of his.

The car is 1990 in excellent condition with less than 16,000 miles. He has pampered the car for the last 12 years. This car use to belong to an X president of the Ferrari club. I still have the stick on it.

So if you are willing to pay and want someone you can trust, I totally trust the guy with his words and would not hesitate to recommend him at this time.

My car pictures were all over car & coffee 12/30/2006.

Hi guys, thanks for your support.

Update, is that I have prepared my case, and I will file today. Michael R has agreed to come to court as my witness, so this *should* be a real quick/easy case.

Chris, thank for your kind comment on my car.

I need to endorse Kings Powers' comment about Michael Rozenstraten and his Ferrari Service of Costa Mesa, http://ferrariservice.com/. Very, very high level of honesty and integrity! Rare commodities in this day and age. Thanks for the recommendation Senna.

They had my recently acquired '95 348 Spider in the shop to replace all the fluids, to establish a baseline. Michael essentially talked me out of some things that saved me $$$. Most recently, his advice again saved me a trip to his shop and $$$$ by deferring a 30K maintenance for a year or so.

I'll drive to Costa Mesa for the level of comfort I get in dealing w/ this guy.
