Time to start an official info thread for the Cars & Coffee (C & C) meet at Ford's Premier Auto Group campus in Irvine (PAG). Pretty similar to the old Crystal Cove show. Every Saturday morning, 7-9 or so. All car types welcome. Room for 400 show cars and several hundred spectator vehicles.

Ford owns and manages the property. There are no noise constraints, lots of shade trees, no homes nearby, and room for transporters too. Located near the intersections of Alton and Gateway, and Irvine Center Drive and Gateway. Close to the 5, 405 and 133 freeways, across Alton from the Irvine Spectrum.

Cafeteria inside with Starbuck's coffee and breakast open 7-9. Restrooms too. Outside coffee and muffins table opens around 6:30 for the early risers. Be respectful if you come and avoid aggressive driving into or out of the show, take up only one parking space, and refrain from advertising or vending.

    Address is:
    7905 Gateway
    Irvine, CA

Great Venue. Miss the ambiance of Crystal Cove but otherwise a great opportunity to see many different vehicles all in one place.

    I'll be there Saturday.

The event is fantastic and unique in the world. Thank you to all who have had anything in making this happen. It is an event that is the highlight of our week.

Is there a published list of the dates that each mark will be featured? If so can you please put it on this thread.

    Thanks again,

Its hard for me to put into words what I witnessed Saturday... My heart rate increased, I started grinning, and I had a blast just walking around checking out all the automotive art and engineering. W O W. I am currently in school for engineering and this makes me so motivated to get A's and to study harder so I can work for a car company. Seeing a Ford concept roll right out of the show room and rumble to life was so amazing! I know what I am doing on Saturday mornings from now on...

Looks like Ferrari will be the featured mark this weekend. Jeffrey and Shaughnessy worked it out so we should get a good mix of old and new. I'm guessing at least an F40 and a 375 MM, but what do I know.

As the weather keeps getting better, the show will undoubtedly keep growing. Hopefully everybody will continue to be good guests and follow the rules. Spectators really need to stay in the outer lots to keep every available spot open for the show cars. And keep the speeds down going in or out.

Seeing such a huge gathering this past week reminded me how easy it is to forget how much work is involved in making this happen every week. It seems so effortless because we all just show up and park. We have to remember that the guys at PAG really went out on a limb for us to secure the location and make sure we have coffee and food every week.

Big thanks to Tom, Freeman and John for making the show what it is week in and week out. These guys almost single-handedly keep the show going, getting there early and pointing people in the right direction. Not to mention having the coffee ready and the cafe open, making and posting the signs, and dealing with the local authorities. Looked like we might have had too much of a good thing this past week.

Seeing the Ferraris return was nice, but every week the show easily surpasses the old CC. While I am partial to the Ferraris, the show in the main lot is always there. The incredible diversity and large gathering of exotics, rare muscle, race cars, classics, customs, one-offs and supercars really make this a must attend event. Thanks to everybody involved.

Is there a way for us to help? Like volunteer or ? I went this last weekend and it was incredible to see a Bugatti and an SLR McLaren and so many other great cars in one place. I was surprised to see a Cizetta v16 there, wow. I mean I just really like cars and if there is a way to get involved and help that would be great. Thanks. ~Matthew
