The actual Derby is on the 5th Sunfest is that day too, and I think the Air and Sea Show is in Ft Lauderdale that day too.. BT: Let me know if you want me to bring any extra chairs over if if you want to go on a Costco Run the day before. Do you want us all to bring shovels so we can start digging the foundation for your next addition I'm still getting rid of the concrete slab I broke up a few weeks ago, and now I have a dead Palm tree to chop down this weekend- The guys from Waste Management hate me.
Sad to say your beloved Chef will not be cooking the "Q" this year. I will be in Turkey. Hope all the crew has the best time.
Okay folks, Martin can't make it, but that is a tradition at this point! The Q is going to be May 5th starting at 11AM . I will need a list of attendees to have for our security gate, so let me know who you are if you are in, and what vehicle you anticipate bringing. Plenty of parking for at least 80 cars. Last year we had 30 cars, this year I'm hoping for 50.... If you know someone with a nice sports car or other interesting automobile let them know. you don't have to bring an exotic to participate, but a good attitude is a MUST! Bring whatever you would like, but don't eat lunch (or even breakfast) before arriving. Last year we had about 8 Ferrari, some NSX, Lotii, a couple Corvettes, a Viper, Mini Cooper, Tbird, Porsche, Audi, BMW, etc... All are welcome, I know its a pretty far drive for some people so the exotic is not always practical. I'll make a menu and put the list of people / cars to date then. So far I know I'm doing a marinated filet mignon that I also make at our Xmas party. I know we will have a Ginetta and a 348 for sure! BT
