How do I connect an ipod to my original radio CDX F-20?

    My 355 came with the original radio unit without the cd changer and I want to play cd's or mp3's. What are my option? I dont want to remove the radio, I want the original look.
    Does any one know what SONY (or other brand) cd changerr units that will fit, or any good way of pluggin in an ipod?

    Sorry should be Sony XR-F20, CDX-F20 is the CD unit.

    I use a Connects2 ipod to sony adapter (part No. ASOIPOD001) with the original XR-F21 head unit in my 98 355.
    It works ok. The head unit sees the ipod as a multi disc CD stacker.
    However you cannot use the cd up/down control to move between playlists, this function only appears to work with later model sony head units. (only tracks in the active playlist when you connect the ipod can be selected)

    Hi again
    I can se that there are two different units, Connects1 and Connects2. Is it the Connects2 you use, the part number you wrote seems to be for the Connects1 unit.

    It is definitely a Connects 2 adapter.

    Go to the 'www connects2 com' web site.
    Then from the Browse category panel go... iPod Adapters -> Aftermarket -> Sony

    You can also put ASOIPOD001 in the UK amazon site.
    Or search for SOIPOD001 on 'www caraudiodirect co uk' site.
