    Nice Dude!

Does this mean that you're not moving on to the porker? (Oh was that supposed to be a secret from the brotherhood) :)

I'm out of town for a few weeks but hope to catch up with you when I get back and see your Italian mistress in person (forget that reliable German wife - the mistress is more fun).

There would be considerable interest in such an aftermarket system.

Hey, I just read that the side strakes have a purpose besides dating the car from the 80's and 90's. The designer said that the strakes were the only way to route enough air into the cooling ducts for both the TR and 348. Funny that the 355 omitted them. Reportedly, the designers were able to modify the 355 ducting shape to achieve the same flow without the strakes. That said, I woder if strake removal will result in cooling issues on these cars...

I have had no cooling issues in the 3 months of usage and the car is located in the tropics (ie hot), so think that it may be a myth.

I am currently trying to source this from the same manufacturer that provided me with the Challenge fog covers.

No mate, car is still for sale, but I never stop modifying or enjoying even if the thought of selling is in my mind.

Just waiting for the right offer to come, then the car will go. Wife definitely wants the 996 Turbo....

I ordered them direct from Japan. Still have the originals as well in case I want to go back to the cheese grates.

Harold, car is very nice sir! Are those HRE wheels? I have black 540Rs that look like those. I had considered polishing them. (Buy the wife the 996 and keep the 348 too!) Thanks, Scott

That is a beautiful car. Very nice. Do you have the 355 tailights? The strakes just unbolt out, and you can put them back anytime? Wow. I did not know that. I always thought that was a semi-permanant mod.

Hi Scott. No they are Work rims (Porsche cup suppliers). I like your idea- wish I had enough garage space. We will see, if the right price doesnt come, the car will stay, and I am certainly not sad about that!

Agreed. But the washing of those darn things was driving me mad! Front lip is from Valence USA, ordered in primer, painted by local paint shop.

Sounds like you need a new house with a bigger garage!!!! If I could figure out where I put the pics of my house you'd be laughing. My whole lower level has 4 garages, and I built a 1200sqft free-standing unit next to the house! ;o) Scott (and they are all FULL)
