I did a quick search on Google, didnt find anything that I could tell was rosso metallic. All that I saw were the normal red or wine red (rosso corsa or rosso rubina?) Google usually works, but it didnt this time. James in Denver

Mike, thanks for these. They don't look any different than rosso corsa, although the 328 pics are tiny and blurry, so who knows. I will be seeing one next week and will try to grab pics.

Agreed, immediate difference versus Rosso Corsa. Very unique color. I would describe it, overall, as a lighter, less bold color than Rosso Corsa - it appears to almost have some "Salmon" color in it.
I saw a TR in person this color before. Kind of a pinkish rose color. I like things that are different, but can't say I liked this color - Especially on a TR. The ebay car looks pretty clean though.
I just got back from Cleveland today, and I visited the 328 at Goldman's. 'Salmon' is a good description. In fact it looked to me like a woman's lipstick color. I would have to say I found the color unattractive (it's actually prettier in the photos).

Was in CLE visiting the nieces, so I made a side trip to Goldman. So, basically yes - more curiosity than anything.
i like the color. it's not as saturated and overly red as the typical red ferrari color appears. this color is lighter on the eyes and more metallic in quality, with a hint of champagne in there. very different. for red it gets somewhat away from the cliche'd red ferrari.
I like it for the sake of being different...it makes me think to describe it as raspberry. Not necessarily my fav color, but it's nothing ghastly. That being said, I'llr stick with my Blu Medio car.
I'm definitely Mr. Let's Get Something Different, and really didn't want red on my 308/328. But there are plenty of colors - blu sera, argento, nero metallico, rosso rubino (?), etc. - that are both different and look great as well. This wasn't one of them. It looked like Pinky Tuscadero's car (for those of you of a certain age and pop cultural upbringing ...)
