i'm pretty sure this is the FOURTH annual NE FChat BBQ, not the third.

    my calendar now shows:
    08/14/04
    07/23/05 (i missed this one)
    07/30/06
    07/22/07

or did the 2005 shindig get rained out or something so it doesn't count?

Italian bikes are very cool. I can't wait to see your new ride. I too, "am in between" Ferraris but we will have a good time.

This years event will be “La Fest Italiana” - An Italian Feast held at Villa Castelhano. It is co-hosted by Count Giavanni di Castelhano, Bertocchi, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and yours truly.

    Date: Sunday 22 July
    Time: 2:00 PM

Please RSVP by Friday 13 July via eMAILso I can send you directions to the feast. Also, eMAIL RSVPs will be used for the official headcount. So no eMAIL, no directions. To send email, click on my name by this post, then click on [send eMAIL to Verell] on the drop-down menu.

Please put BBQ in the subject line so my eMAIL filter will separate your replies from the spam & put it where I can find it. Why BBQ? Because it's short & I've already got the filter setup.

I'm also sending this out via eMAIL to people who've already said they're coming, & also to last year's BBQ list. However, after Friday 13 July I'm going to drop the names that I haven't received an RSVP from.

Count Castelhano has aranged for his serfs to set up a tent with plenty of tables, so we'll have cover from rain or too much sun!

    MENU:
Provided by the graceous Count & Countess:
    Lasagna
    Sausage & Peppers
    Italian Roast Chicken
    Anti-Pasta
Spinach & Strawberry Salad w/poppy seed dressing
    Paper goods

We still could use volunteers to bring:
    Chips & Dip
    Crudetes (aka veggies & dip)
    Beer
    Wine
    Cheese & Crackers
More Desserts - never can have too many (BTW, What's that Italian cake with layers of pudding inside it called? Anyone have a good source for one?)

Anyone have Bocce Balls they could bring? Anyone willing to organize an informal Bocce Tournament?

    We already have volunteers for:
    Bottled Water - Pizzaman
    Potato Salad - Pizzaman
    Tortilla Chips - JesseJames
Italian Bread and a Dessert - RichMan
    Soda, Beer, & a Dessert - TGF

    NON-FERRARIS (P-cars & other lesser makes ;^)
I suppose if it's a significant one like the superlight 911 that came one time, or the only thing you have to drive, we'll find a place for it up the street & around the corner...

Heck, if it's raining, we'll even understand & let you park in the courtyard. But ONLY if it's raining...;^)

    TOWING:
Please notify us in advance if you're planning to break down enroute so we can have phone #s, etc. ready so you can call for towing... Don't just arrive broken down & surprise everyone like a certain Down Easterner did the first year...
    ;^)

Altho, if you do break down, & don't want it towed, the good count will be able to fix it for you for a small phenomenal fee...

It looks as though we will have 2 italian bikes at the event. Kinda like seeing a 360 and 430 at the same time. ;-)

Does Christine know that this is the "BIG GATHERING" of gatherings??

Plenty of food, plenty of BSn, probably some singing and she will know where you are too. ;)
