    Hope this isn't a repost… and I did search…

Obviously its pretty tongue-in-cheek but its great our old crusty old exotic held its own. Although there are a lot of points to pick apart, I saw a lot of my own car’s strengths and weaknesses in it. So if I get rid of my TRX's I can get .91 on the skidpad?

Hey that was pretty cool. 308 gets respect, even if it's from a Korean mini van.

Now maybe you'll stop hearing about how a minivan can beat a 308.

That old thing beat the WRX in the slalom.

7.3 to 60 is not bad considering they said they did not have to beat the clutch to obtain that kind of time. I bet they could get another .3 off that time if they really got on it. No other engine maker do I know of can last this long and still have great performance other than Porsche. What durable engines. Aways impressed.

.91g is a big number, but you have to realize that this car wears Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. These are a far cry from the OEM-spec tires that came on the QV. The compound is softer. The sidewalls are much firmer. The tread is geared much more towards ultimate grip.

That was fun-I have to agree with bullfighter-it is the most I have ever read about a Kia.

After reading past articles about the Edmund's 308 I was afraid it would take a beating. My GTB would have ripped a 14 second 1/4 mile that would have left the Edmunds staff stunned!

Thank you for posting this. I enjoyed watching the video. The engine bay and the driver's side bolster made me cringe though.

The part that makes me cringe is that they keep referring to a Ferrari 308 QV as a $27K car, which will buy you the kind of dog they're long-term testing here. It's the same as a $40K Testarossa: yeah, you can get one for that, but...

I'd expect better from edmunds to do that kinda comparison. They knew damn well that the 308 was faster and had better brakes and would beat it in the slalom. You'd expect that kinda sensationalized journalism from someone who didn't know better or just didn't care about their journalistic integrity.
