    Real bummer
    Glad you are ok
Looks like a lot of fire at the front end of the car, did the gas tank catch on fire?

    Whats next?

It exploded in the rear, then spread to the front up the passenger side. Im not sure if the gas tank did or not. It had a full tank. They pryed open the front and got the fire out.

As for whats next Russ.. Ill take a page from your book. Its a HUGE secret.

Thanks Doug. I still cant belive it myself. Im sure it will get worked out.

When I saw the car on the track, I said that's the one I would want. I was shocked when standing there by John Fingers WSC, they said you know that Yellow turbo that just left here, it burned to the ground 5 miles from here! We were floored!! Good to see you doing so well, we look forward to seeing your new 360!

Glad that you're OK. Everything else is just parts.

    Couple of thoughts:
#1. Why does a car that is lighter than my 348 have power steering in the first place?

#2. Please, please install an engine bay fire extinguisher in your next car.

    Dave,

I'm glad to hear you're okay, I simply can't believe this happened. I'd be interested to find out the culprit, give us some insight of how it unfolded, though. (Did you just being to smell something burning, or was it something that was just all-the-sudden?)

Atleast my last glimpse of it was when it was out there gleaming @ the LMS paddock on that Saturday afternoon....
