Just got back from a business trip in Vegas.
One of the owners of a partnering company just purchased a Veyron, Enzo, and MC12 and lined up track time for us at an amazing Motorsport park!!
It was like a dream come true.
I jumped in the Enzo first. Raw and amazing, but a little "rough" going around the track. I didn't realize how different ceramic brakes sound and feel. I thought this would be my favorite, but unbelievably it wasn't. Next I climbed in the Veyron for a few hot laps. Holy Sh*t!!! That thing is a rocket. It doesn't even sound like an internal combustion engine. When you jump on the gas, apart from having your head snap into the seat, your vision get blurry, difficulty grabbing the next paddle-shift...you just hear what sounds like a jet engine explode over your right ear!!! I have never felt acceleration like that, or braking for that matter....the spolier pops up in the back to act as an airbrake unde heavy braking. But my favorite, on the track anway ('cause I'd take the Veyron home if I could), was the MC12. It felt so balanced and in control, much more confidence-inspiring than the Enzo for me. It also had the best sounding race-car-like engine sound, deep and intoxicating. The Veyron was downright scary.
Thanks to Payam Matin at Lamborghinin of Las Vegas for helping make that a really enjoyable time, and of course thanks to the generous owner who shall remain nameless.
    Wow!
Of course, I am ruined for life. Ruined!

He bought all 3 at once, and has an order in for another 14 cars. One guy there with his lambo had a collection of 52 cars!
It was like going to car guys heaven!
It is almost enough to make me want to move to Vegas.

Would never have thought that color combo on the Veyron would look that good. Awesome experience, unforgettable. MC12 looks the best IMO!

What the hell.. what the hell!!!

let me get this straight.. you were able to drive an ENZO, VEYRON and MC12 and you left NO SEMEN on any of the seats?!?!

first of all this owner must just bloody well off since letting someone drive 6 million dollars worth of cars on a track would be nuts unless you considered that 6 million pocket change..

    what an experience..

tell me more about the acceleration of the veyron.. is it true you lose visual acuity? you can't see for a few moments?

I'm not sure where the confusion on this stems.
Yes, I was driving them myself, otherwise I really wouldn't have been excited enough to share the experience with you all.
It is really kind of strange, right after finishing driving these cars I thought to myself, "Wow, I need to get some pix and share this with FerrariChat." It is nice having a graoup of like-minded exotic car enthusiasts to share experiences with, otherwise it isn't quite the same.
(The owner of these cars is in his early 40's and just sold one of his recent companies-he builds companies and sells them-for approx $200M, he has the money, and likes to have fun with people that help him.)
