    Hi,

Will be coming up on some service work for my 99, 355 GTS F1. I've taken it to the dealer up in Redwood City and really liked them but just a long way to go from where I live south of Los Gatos. Wouldn't mind somewhere a bit closer. Anyone have any experience or suggestions. Had early service at Los Gatos Ferrari but now that its Silicon Valley Auto something, I'm afraid they may change the Ferrari logo to a Lotus cloverleaf...

    Thanks

I have used two places for service,I have a 355 and 360. SVAG is very good on 355 service. They have a tech there named Flavio(spelling), he really cares about the cars. He is very good with 355's, although they are very expensive, gotta pay for those fancy new locations!!

Jaun, the owner of Grand Prix motors is also very good with 355's. He is in Campbell on Kennedy ave. He is more reasonable in price as well.

I would recommend either of these shops.

I haven't used him personally, but Juan's reputation is pretty good 'round these here parts. I've got his business card, though:

I can definitely vouch for Juan and Grand Prix Motors!
Great service, efficient in and out, very good rates.

Great suggestions. I need to finally breakdown and do the timing belt. Maybe I'll go chat with both and try and get an idea on estimated pricing for the job.

    Thanks

Dan, did you take the 360 to Juan? I need some service. Maybe I should give him a try.

They're also on the expensive side. My major service last year came to over $13K, all routine except for a new water pump. Here's a pic of the service in progress:

Hi John, only a oil and fluid change so far on the 360,half the price Los Gatos wanted!! It is not due for a belt change for another year or so. I had my 95 355 engine out done by Jaun a number of years ago, also he just did my niegbors 95 355GTS engine out service, turned out great.
