After pouring over the thousands of images shot by myself and staff, The French Quarter Classic website has been updated to include a summary gallery of images from the weekend! A lot more images are right around the corner -- I will be adding hundreds more to a digital proofs gallery before the end of the week. If you attended the event and are looking for photographs of your car please contact me as soon as possible so I can assemble a private proof gallery for you.

In the mean time, here are some highlights from the site!

There is just something about that picture of Zahir's Enzo pulling out of the Windsor Court onto N. Peters that is incredible. That angle is rarely caught and I have to say it might be one of the best pics I have seen in a long time.

I read the opening of the book you loaned me and can't wait until I can really sit down and go through it.

    Amazing! As always.

My son was so impressed with the two Enzo’s this year that I am now in the process of helping him make an Enzo Pine Wood Derby car for the scouts race.
    Not an easy task.

    Great photos Richard!

What's up with the antenna on the yellow Enzo? Did he install a CB or something?

Looks like a light turn out this year....and where were the vintage Ferrari's? It looks like it was nothing like the 2004 FQC I attended...I guess the hurricane still keeps some away from NO...so sad.

There is not much point to taking a vintage car to this event which was all about track time and current model cars. No concours, no rallye, not much driving except for the track, which is all fine but not likely to attract the old bangers.

Yep- the make up of cars has changed a lot. If it doesn't have a flappy paddle tranny it's a rarity now.

    Malcom,
The event was actually oriented more in the fashion of previous events, although initially the focus was on the race. We had a nice trip up the river to Houmas House plantation, where some of the photos in this thread were taken...wish you were there, I missed seeing your beautiful Daytona :(

Well, there's just a lot going on in the world right now, Mr. G is busy with things, and that diluted the EC crew that made '04..

Chris Parr has the new shop...

Roland was scheduled and had a last minute emergency in Colorado.

And Val's Mom's knee surgery knocked our three mid 70's cars out...

So that's aleast a dozen cars that COULD have been at the evemt but were facing conflicts in schedule.

I think the Florida crews had to chose also, an event there was in conflict........Martin, Cochese...all those guys...

Heck YOU didn't come this year Franklin, so we were missing you, TSpringer and Zupra from '04!

Although Zupra is out there somewhere, practicing in the Ferrari F1 kart, as I sent him someparts support as I moved from Valeri'as house........

Malcomb, Roland said ya'll were in Houston and couldn't find me....don't let THAT happen again! LOL!
He has my cell number and you can have it as well......come by for a steak or some good Gulf seafood....

Bubba- your 308 with the cooler of ice cold suds in the trunk would have been unique out there.

Maybe things will change for future events.

The 2005 FQC sure attracted vintage Ferrari's...there were numerous Ferrari's from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and even a couple from the 1940s! Some even participated in the track event and of course all of them participated in the Concours de Elegance as well as the drive abouts
