    silverstone grigio... ordered one just like that, although I am being a bit turned off by the greyish color, greyish stripes, and greyish wheels... might switch to Tour De France Blue, with the greyish stripes and wheels...

    That's not Grigio Silverstone........it's a non-metallic grey color. I have a F430 in Grigio Silverstone and this grey looks different.

    I know you do... but I am pretty sure these are the same colors of the cars in the Uk and Ireland launch... it's pretty dark and cloudy, so...

    Is this not a 50-60s colour? I cannot find the 50-60s colour chart but there was a colour called Grigio Scuro which was used on the 612 Sessanta and it was a dark grey (not Grigio Silverstone). There are also 2 other greys from the 50-60s colours - does anyone have a link to the chart?

    Edit - OK found the chart and its not Grigio Scuro. Sorry.

    Harry, in my first post I mentioned that it could be either Grigio Scuro or Grigio Medio, both solid colors and both from the 50-60s color chart. Grigio Scuro was used on the 612 Sessanta, Grigio Medio is slightly darker in color, however I am not sure which color is on that Scuderia due to the bad resolution of the video and lack of light. The third grey color present in the 50-60s color chart is Grigio Ferro Met., lighter than the other two grey colors and metallic.

    OK, its definitely not the Grigio Scuro as that is the battleship grey colour (like on the LP640 at launch). That Scuderia will show up at another UK dealer on the 13th December so we can always check the colour code then and report back.

    It has been resolved. I have received today the information with regards to the color of the Scuderia in the video from Mr. Cavagna, Ferrari Regional Manager Middle East & Africa.

    Here is the reply:

    "Tarek, the 430 Scuderia is our PS 4 (pre-series) VIN 155219 with number plate L4 13406.
    Colour for the exterior is GRIGIO SCURO 792 from the ’50-’60 colour range . Modis code for the colour range is PNTC, then the dealer must specify the GRIGIO SCURO 792 colour.
    My recommendation: remember to order as well the racing livery code PNT4 and the brake calipers in aluminium code CALA

    I think the exterior colour is the same lambos GRIGIO TELESTO..

    Yes, very close. Ferrari call it Grigio Scuro.

    It might be the same car or the same color......just different lighting conditions.

    i too LOVE that color. it got a lot of flack over on another thread - people seemed to not like it. i think it's exceptional and would look great on the scud!

    Yeah, I know Bjorn.........but I think it's a very cool color, very different and I think it will suit the Scuderia well with all the black CF and dark wheels. I'm going with it. Thanks for your support ;).

    Hey Tarek,

    the 599 is not Scuro...it is Grigio medio. This particular car was at the Frankfurt show and was confirmed Medio by Ferrari North America for me.
    The Scud in the video, however, is Sucro as you've said.

    If you look a bit closer, you can see that Medio has a more brown hue to the gray and Scuro has a blue tone to it.
    If I were you, I'd have a good auto painter paint up samples of both colors for you to see in person before ordering your car.
    Colors ALMOST ALWAYS look different on computer screens than in real life.

    I'm in the process of having my wheels painted Medio. ;)

    Tarek, both Scuro and Medio look amazing for the Scuderia. Unless your physically able to see Scuderia #155219 I think mase's suggestion is the way to go.

    Hi Mase,

    FNA are mistaken about the 599 color at the Frankfurt show........I know of someone who actually was at the Frankfurt show and this is his post taken from another forum:
    "What I know for sure is that the 599 at display on the Ferrari IAA booth was in Grigio Scuro (we checked the color plate inside of the car). This grey is very, very similar to the Lambo grey. I would describe it as elephant grey."

    However, I will do as you suggest......have two large actual color samples made.

    You must post pictures of your car once you have the wheels painted Grigio Medio.
