    Brothers and others,

    I have just come up on 4 years of ownership on the 348 and what an experience it has been. Ferrari has changed my life and being a member of FerrariChat and becoming friends with so many folks from around the world have been a real honor.

    I am thinking of parting with my 348 Speciale tb, and it is for a few reasons. I now own a 512 TR, which sort of trumps the 348; and I would like to pay more attention to the 512. Also, I would like to free up some cash so that I can make a move in the future toward another F-car (yes, I am insatiable).

    I love my 348 to pieces. I have no children (yet), so the 348 is as close to a child as I've had -- and I have loved it like a child! Therefore, I really would like to see it go to an enthusiast, and preferably an F-Chat member. I really don't want to sell it to some hot shot from whom I would never hear again. I see folks on F-Chat who have sold their cars to other members or even friends and I think that's great. I want someone else to enjoy this car.

    That's sort of the purpose of this thread. I just want to alert folks to the fact that I will be looking to sell the car this year.

    This isn't really an official advertisement because I have not yet assembled all the information and photographs necessary for that sort of enterprise; nor have I made the absolute final decision as to whether I will be selling it. While many folks on F-Chat "know" the car, I will post some information about the car in a future post on either this thread or another.

    In the mean time, I am wondering whether or not I will be banished from the Brotherhood? That is a factor in my decision process! :)

    My guess is that you went out to buy an updated 348 and got confused by the strakes on the 512TR. It's an easy mistake. You're forgiven since your heart was in the right place. :p

    It's nice to hear from someone so passionate about his Ferrari, especially a 348. Lets see, will around $833 and roughly $500 worth of electronics seem like a fair trade? ;)
