Sounds perfect for Barrett Jackson! Now you just need to get a tux like the ones they wear in the movie when you take it out for rides!
Seems like a good deal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4f4EsPBvTk So is this the actual car, or a car similar to the one used in the movie?
Throw in the furry boots and I will consider it How can a car be driven so much on MSO for so long of time?
It IS the actual car from the Movie...have all documents for it..should arrive here in Seattle in about 2-3 weeks.
That's strange. I saw that car a few years ago in Atlanta, the owner claimed it was the actual "movie car", and he sold it a year later to get into a Fod GT. Is that possible?
I'm such a huge fan of this movie I would jump on this in a heart beat if you can offer me 0% financing for the next 30 years. Obviously kidding. I remember sitting in the theater (maybe 11 years old) watching them pull up to the hotel in the car and thinking.."these guys may be dumb, but they sure are smart enough to buy the right car..."
Yea I wish...funny thing also...When I bought my first Lambo, my 2001 6.0SE it was BRAND NEW and only had 158 miles on it. When we did the paperwork they had changed the warranty from 24 months to 18 months...when asked they said Lamborghini did it because the car had been over 1 year in stock, (I bought it in Sept 2002)...since then I have found that to be the case with OTHER Lambos that have been in stock over a year, they cut the warranty time...something to look out for.
It is possible I am not sure. The car is coming out of Denver right now, with the current owner...it is still on OPEN MSO never been registered or titled....ALSO I am getting the COLORADO License plate they put on the car for the movie...you can see it here in the pic..it is signed on the back by Jim Carrey and his co-star...cool piece to have as well...I think this would be a great car for Barrett Jackson if you hiped it up enough and had all the stuff with it,....could go big!! Great car, if I didn't already have one, I would be all over it. I loved the movie, and I think that if it did get to Barrett-Jackson, it would do very very well. I think you should send it there, you will get more even with the 10% commission.
Hi Roy I looked at that car earlier this month. Your doing the right thing by having it gone through. Neat car, good luck with the sale. Greg
Yes, it needs some TLC, shame the owner just let it sit with no care. But it will be top Notch once Lamborghini Denver is done with it..they do good work. Also will have the front spoiler repaired and re-done, has a crack in it...the interior is really clean..but some little things here and there to get the car where it should be.
Sure give me a call...will go over the whole car with you 425-353-2287 Ext #3 if I am not in my office it goes to my cell 24 hours a day or e-mail [email protected]
Dumb question as I am not 100% up to speed on all things Diablo...is '93 still a 2wd car or is it an awd VT? TT
Yes 93 is still a RWD car only. First VT cars showed up in late 93, but were stamped as a 94 MY car...
I do not really want to list it until the work is completed and I have it here in Seattle...but if it does not go before then,,then yes it will probably go there, Dupont and Robb Report
